    Very noisy and had a reservation, had to wait 1/2 hour to sit, much too crowded and put us in the bar to eat

    As full time Neapolitans we’re aware of, and very understanding of the stress season can place on a restaurant. What we can’t forgive is over booking, and rude behavior from the hostesses. Molto serves well prepared basic Italian food, and the table servers are wonderful. That can’t be said for the hostesses, as stated earlier. When we arrived ON TIME for our reservation placed well in advance, we were told that we’d have a 25-45 minute wait. We were advised that they were still in the process of seating reservations that were for 30 minutes before ours. When we said that was unacceptable, we were rudely told, we can leave! In season, on a Saturday, where else could we go w/o a reservation? After about a 25 minute wait, we checked back, and the hostess told us she didnt know who we were. Again, totally unacceptable. We waited by the desk, and about 10 minutes later, were seated. Imagine if we hadn’t checked back. They were so overwhelmed by overbooking that managing the crowd was beyond their ability. We had a similar experience when we ate here just before season. In a few short weeks season will be over, and establishments like this will be begging for patrons. Those patrons wont be us, as we wont return. We’ll be patronizing the other local eateries, who know how to manage their space, respect their patrons and arent rude b/c they overwhelm themselves. Lack of manners and professionalism is NEVER a response when dealing with the public. Buh bye Molto Trattoria.

    It took me awhile to get this reservation but I am glad we finally got there. It is a very busy restaurant so I did feel a bit as though they were cycling through customers and service was not very personal. The food was very good and the cappuccino and dessert were amazing. I would recommend but be prepared for a congested environment.

    We went for dinner. Even though they were at full capacity they made sure to let us know that they would have a table ready for us with little wait time. Dinner came out quickly. The food was delicious. Everyone was very pleased with their order. We’ll definitely be coming back.

    Molto Trattoria never disappoints! Everything on the menu is freshly prepared and delicious. The atmosphere right on 5th is also a plus.

    The food was excellent. Their spinach and ricotta raviolis were as light as feathers and truly enjoyed the marinara sauce. Tagliolino con Polpette e ricotta was delicious also. Would definitely go again.
