We love going to Molkagtez for family and friends dinners, the food is very good, and the place is great for groups. The menu has a large variety of options and we love the vegetarian ones. The drinks are also great, especially margaritas, they just changed their glasses and look way better now. About the service, it has been a bittersweet experience, Sometimes it is great, but not always, some sometimes we had bad experiences with the service, being unorganized and lacking engagement. On this last visit was better than our previous one, however, you can tell it still needs improvement. I’m saying this because I have great hopes for this restaurant can be one of the top best in the city.

Great and varied menu. Lots of great cocktail choices. Very attentive and caring service. Food taste and preparation was very good. Nice, lively vibe in the restaurant... check out the back room! The only issue was the kitchen being slow, but in their defense, it was a busy night. And the servers were constantly checking in to see what was happening with our food... we didn't feel neglected! The owner was very present and kept his team running smoothly. We'll be back!

The food was absolutely amazing I had the guacamole served in the traditional Molcajete!! It was absolutely delicious. I also had the Birria tacos and they were absolutely filling and worth the price, they were filled with so much meat and cheesy goodness, and let me tell you the Consomé was so flavourful 💯. And the “jungle side “ that I reserved was very colourful and just very vibrant to look at , Such a fun vibe !!! Great customer service ! Overall I would definitely come back and try the flautas which is next on my list !

The price you pay is not reflective of the quality you receive. The food is subpar, the cocktails are diluted, and the dishes lack genuine Mexican flavor. I have no intention of returning or recommending this place to anyone.

Overall service was really impressive and quick. Chicken tacos and Guacamole with chips are the best. Must try their Margarita drink so yumm…

Honestly wasn’t impressed in any capacity. If this would be someone’s first introduction to Mexican food, they’d think it was somewhere between extremely mediocre and below average.

Food: pretty authentic and very fresh. Small portions for the price. Flan dessert was scrambled. Service: probably the worst part of the night although everyone was very friendly. Our food came separately (one entree arrived a good 5 minutes before the other). Had multiple different servers leading them to ask if we wanted more drinks right after someone had already taken our order. Ambience: fun

Enjoyed it a lot, a lively place after 9:30. Highly recommend: octopus taco, fajitas (mixed, with steak, shrimp, chicken), shrimp ceviche, bone marrow appetizer. We will be visiting again for sure.

The environment along with the service and quality of food/drinks makes it one of the best Mexican restaurants have tried in Toronto to dine in. It’s a perfect gem. Highly recommend
