“I wanted to do a place with good Italian comfort food. The simplicity of it, the freshness of it, the quality of ingredients that you get to work with.” They specialize in that quintessential Italian comfort food – pizza. “I think it’s great that the city of Boston is turning around and starting to become known for pizza like the other big cities in the country,” he said. “It is such a simple food but it all comes down to the quality of ingredients.” It’s all done out of an open kitchen where the star of the show is Molinari’s wood burning oven.

Little disappointed w the food as I’ve always had a great experience at Molinari’s. Calamari was sooooo overcooked. Had the chix Milanese for an entree and the chix was overcooked, the egg on top undercooked, and the salad was inedible as it was literally doused in dressing.

The overall experience was positive. The food was excellent and the service was first class. The restaurant was crowded so the noise level was high. Also the tables are close together. The overall experience was very positive.

I have eaten at Molinari’s many times over the last several years. I have never had a bad meal. This afternoon was no different. I took my sister and brother in law for a special lunch before she gives birth to their first child. We got there fairly early for lunch meal. For appetizers we ordered arancini, and chicken wings. Everyone was very happy with how they came out. My brother in law ordered the FETTUCCINI CARBONARA, I ordered the THE LUCCA and my sister ordered THE BURRATA pizzas. For dessert we ordered strawberry short cake, cannoli, and crème brûlée. Everything was cooked to perfection and was delicious. Emily was our server and she was pleasant & attentive, and even told us some of her personal favorites. As always never a bad meal & always great service.

This was our first visit, but it will not be our last! Food was fantastic and our server (Isabella) could not have been more helpful and attentive!

Outstanding, as always - food was excellent( Caesar Salad, Bruschetta, Penne Allla Vodka and Chicken Milanese were all excellent. Service was great, as well. The entire staff works very well together!

Molanaris was fabulous as always. Love that you can reserve seats at the bar on OpenTable! Ordered the chicken parm and split it and 2 meatballs. And…had leftovers! Their sauce is amazing! Bartender was friendly. We love it here!!

This was overall a great experience, We had made reservations thank goodness as the place was hopping at 630 on a Friday night of the holiday weekend. Stepthanie our waitress was amazing funny, professional, attentive and courteous. Was almost like we were friends. Food was amazing, so good the watermelon salad out of this world. The summer blossoms were the best and that fact that they use a local farm in Sharon was even better. Not one thing was bad the veal and scallop dish came out piping hot. There is nothing to complain about it was a little chilly from the AC but just bring a sweater in the summer but as fall approaches it will be perfect with no AC. Will be back again for sure.

The food is absolutely delicious and they provide a large portion that is sure to fill you. Servers all have a welcoming personalities and monitor tables to ensure customers have what they need. I highly recommend this quant Italian restaurant.
