The manager was very nice in trying to accommodate me based on the flow of customers. We ordered apps and a main course. For some strange reason, they brought out both courses simultaneously. I asked the waitress why they didn't parse the courses so that my main would not get cold. She gave me attitude and took the main course back. I then asked for a new set of utensils and again, she gave me an exasperated look. Then when she came back, I confronted her and asked if there was a problem and she tried to play it off. My son noticed her negative energy as well. Then when we got to the end of the meal, all of a sudden, she was nice again and offered as compensation, a discount off the bill. That was very nice, I assume that came from the professional and pleasant manager who also fixed my Open Table points. I appreciated that. In regards to the food, it was extremely bland. I was surprised. The vegan rice had no flavor - latin food with no sabor? Wow. In terms of the drinks and mixology? Fantastic. My drink was amazingly delicious and they have an great menu of creative concoctions. I would come back just for the drinks. At any rate, I have spent alot of time in Puerto Rico, the DR, Spain and I have no clue what this food was. This place might work for tourists who don't know any better. Sorry, I did not like the food. But again, the manager was wonderful!

My sisters and I came here on Friday night to celebrate my birthday. I was excited to try all the vegan & vegetarian options on the menu. I loved the vegan empanada as well as the rice and beans! The margarita was delicious, perfect kick! Overall we had a great experience, but our waitress had a bit of an attitude. We mentioned that we’d order our main courses after we received our apps and drinks and she rolled her eyes. The 18% gratuity added to the bill for 3 people is uncalled for especially with service as so.

The food and drinks were delicious. The atmosphere is great . The only thing that bothered us is to why are their babies in this place . I highly believe babies don't belong in a place like Mojo.

I wanted to just quickly write a review of my experience at Mojo. We ate at Mojo because we were heading to the Kings of Leon concert at Forest Hills Stadium and needed something to eat before the show and Mojo had availability. Overall Experience was just okay, service was good but when it comes to food, it was WAY below par for what you pay. Our bill was over $200 for 3 people and to be honest, I've had better latin food at a bodega or a hole in the wall restaurant where you go and order a plate of food for $10.00 - 12.00. The menu options was okay and had some options, we ordered, Empanadas and Fish Tacos for Appetizers and Ropa Vieja, a version of Lomo Saltado and a Filet Mignon for dinner. The best part of the dinner was the appetizers, the Ropa Vieja was a quite bland and the version of Lomo Saltado, should have read Lomo "Salado" (means salty for those non-Spanish speakers) the Filet was good but overall, our expectations where a lot higher based on what they were charging for the food. Glad I went, but there are other places in the area you can go where the cost per plate is comparable but the food is better.

We loved our food and drinks (chips and guacamole, jumpin lomo, ropa vieja, and the mojo burger)! We also tried the white sangria and coco mojo and both were delicious. The service was fast even though we were warned the kitchen was running behind. The only slightly strange thing was a photographer coming around to take photos of our group and then coming back later trying to sell us the printed photos in a frame for $20 each. That felt very strange at a restaurant. But overall, we had a great experience and would love to go back!
