Good food, nice place, but incredibly annoying nickel and dime pricing. We asked for more tortillas to go with our queso {we were given 3 to start}, and they charged us for bringing 3 more. Seriously?

We had a birthday celebration dinner here and it was awesome — the service, the food, and the atmosphere! We thought it would be too hot to sit outside at 7pm in the summer but it was quite comfortable with the fans and being by the water. And we got some amazing photos! 💛

The blinds in front of our table were broken which made for the sun right in the eyes of some of our guests. There were huge spider webs that had been there for a while at the top of the blinds which made us question the cleanliness of the restaurant.

Always love coming to Mojave. A bit sad they don’t have the lobster mares as that was my favorite but I am excited to see what they add/take away from the menu with new ownership.

My husband and I had a 630 reservation on Friday night for a date night dinner. I chose this restaurant because 1) I have never been to Mojave before and 2) My husband recently told me that one of our favorite date nights was when we went to Rays on the River because we could see the waterfront. When I told him I had chosen Mojave, he said that it wasn’t on the river. It was more like a pond. When we were seated at our table, which was next to the window, we both decided it was less of a pond and more of a swamp. I know that Mojave has no control over the water that surrounds it so that part had no reflection on my overall review. We were given a small two person table and found out shortly after being seated that our table was so wobbly that every time my husband put his hand on it and then moved it the table moved, and I had to grab it so our drinks didn’t fall. I let the waiter know that our table was really wobbly, so he moved us to a different table. Before we were moved to a new table, I asked a question about one of the items on the menu and was told the waiter had to confirm with the cook and then let me know. The restaurant was fairly empty at this point so I was surprised that it took him 20 to 30 minutes to come back with an answer. After we were moved to a new table, I then realized why our service was not existent and it took the waiter a while to come back with an answer. It’s because he was standing in the wait station chitchatting with other staff. From the time we entered the restaurant until when we were finally asked if we were ready to place our order approximately 30 minutes had passed. I ordered the salmon and steak tacos with a side of Spanish rice And my husband ordered the ancho steak. Both of our meals were extremely spicy to the point that it wasn’t enjoyable. My husband and I actually has a disagreement after dinner about how much to leave for a tip because the service was lacking.

Have been to Mojave numerous times. It is usually good, but this time it was a terrible. Our reservation was at 6pm. We ordered drinks. After one hour I was told the wine I chose was not afailable. Then another 15 minutes before a substitute was provided. The intial plates for our appetizers were wet and some had food on them from previous diners. It was a long unpleasant evening. If this were our first visit we would never return.

I took my husband and father to celebrate Father’s Day and this is not our first time brunching at Mojave but it was very awkward how it was only brunch menu items being prepared when every single time we have been here we have gotten items from brunch and dinner menu at the same time. Food was ok but my dad was visualizing eating a plate of enchiladas along with chicken tamales which we asked twice but still said were not being served. I was the only one who drinked and got a mimosa when I asked for my check and let me tell you I drank es that mimosa in one sip , literally was like a one oz shot . I won’t give it a 5 star but I would probably be back in the future.

Francisco was a phenomenal server and attended to our every need. In addition the other staff came and checked on and ensured we were getting the best service. The food and ambiance was amazing.

I recently visited your establishment on a Friday evening, hoping to enjoy a good meal and possible drink. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the manager and seated outside by them. Our server, Jasmine, promptly arrived and provided excellent service throughout the evening. Despite it being late in the evening, she took the time to make suggestions for our meal. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by the quality of the food. The calamari was tasty, but the Spanish meatballs were not up to par. The drinks we ordered, the Martini de Cafecito and Prickly Pear, also fell short of expectations. Our entrees, the Paella and Shrimp Enchiladas, were disappointing, with the seafood not tasting fresh and the sides resembling reheated leftovers. When Jasmine returned to check on us, I brought the issues to her attention. She apologized and offered to have us try something else, but given the lateness of the evening, we declined. The manager also apologized and made a similar offer, but we decided to forego any further action. I was impressed by Jasmine's service and professionalism throughout the evening. However, I was taken aback by her comment that it was not proper etiquette to dine at a restaurant prior to closing. While I understand her point, it seemed out of place given the excellent service she had provided earlier. In hindsight, I think it would be beneficial for your establishment to consider stopping table reservations a certain time to ensure the quality of food during the final hours of operation. Nevertheless, I still opted to pay for my meal and left a tip of over 30%. I wanted to provide you with my feedback in the hope that you will take it constructively and use it to improve your establishment. I would recommend reconsidering your reservation policies to avoid future issues with food quality.
