Fun night out. Service was slow as we were told it was really busy. Our appetizers would have arrived with dinner if I hadn't of asked about it. Food was good but not sure if it's worth the price. Overall it was a good time.

Had to ask the server several time for are table to be cleared. She barely came to ask if we wanted drinks Mabel once. Took 15-20 min before she came after we were seated for drinks

New menu is horrible, apps are not diverse, portions for dinner are weak at best. Very sub standard. Safe bet woodbine thoroughbred track doesn't have a menu this bad... Embarassing how this track is so poorly run,

We seldom write reviews, but extremely disappointed with the whole experience related to this evening! We had planned well in advance for a special 80th birthday celebration that our entire family (10+ people) attended and it was a huge letdown for what turned out to be a massive expense. Reservation process was absolutely terrible…we had started trying to book a table over a month in advance and nobody ever answered the phones, our voice messages were never responded to, and numerous attempts to contact them via email were ignored. Service was awful…orders for food and drinks were extremely slow to come out (and it was far from busy in the restaurant), in some cases the wrong food was brought out, bills were wrong and mixed up at the end of the evening, and we were seldom asked if we needed anything else or visited by anyone other than our server to check on things. We had to track our server down to ask for additional items ourselves and then she only brought what that person asked for and didn’t bother to ask others at the table if they wanted or needed anything else (ie: drinks, coffee/tea, dessert, etc). Food was marginal at best…very expensive for what you get, chicken dinners were very dry and over cooked, vegetables were cold, steak was bland. Pretty disappointing for what ended up being an average of $100/person. We had made it well know that it was a special 80th birthday celebration and it was very disappointing that absolutely nothing was done to help celebrate. In fairness, birthday congrats were displayed on the screen outside on the track, but no singing, no complementary dessert or beverage…nothing. Overall, unfortunately, very disappointed with this experience as we really wanted it to be a special night.
