Service on the rooftop was terrible. My burger had a weird taste and I told the waiter, he took my plate, tastes the meat and said it’s fine. Never in my life have I seen a waiter do that. Service was so slow and we kept having to ask them to come over.

Great experience, nice energetic vibe on the patio. Our server Sonny was excellent. Top quality. Looking forward to going back there next time I visit Calgary.

Excellent food and service. We were there for our anniversary and they gave us a card plus champagne.

Our experience at the modern steak house was really good. We tried the Wagyu taste and it was amazing!

Outstanding experience! The food and service were both amazing. They really made my partner feel special on their birthday with a card and a wonderful complimentary dessert! The music and vibes were immaculate. I would highly recommend this location and will be returning!

We had the best time there with the Best waiter Sonny. Very knowledgeable & treated us great. Was so impressed with everyone who brought out our food & told us a bit of what was on our plate. Food was amazing, desserts were delicious. Even got a complimentary surprise dessert. Highly recommend this restaurant

I am so surprised by the experience we had last night. I’ve been to modern steak many times and have always had a top tier experience, however, this time did not measure up. Our server was dismissive and made many mistakes. We brought 2 bottles of wine with us and when we specifically asked to have one opened before the other he did not listen and opened the wrong one (this is after he told us they did not have enough decanters for us to decant both at the same time). The one of my guests steaks was not cooked to the proper temperature that she requested and although the kitchen did take the steak back and throw it back on the grill, when it came back to the table it was still not cooked enough to her liking. As always the sides were excellent. They were the best part of this meal.
