All our seafood is delivered to our kitchen daily by the best suppliers and only the absolute freshest, exceptional quality fish and shellfish are to be selected. Line-caught, trap caught or sustainably farmed in Canada is our goal and commitment. We only want to procure and serve responsibly sourced seafood without compromising our ocean habitat.

Very disappointed all the way around. Service was fair and while the food was ok the portions were small and most entrees needed add ons. To make a meal. The big surprise came with the bill where a 20 % tip was automatically added to the bill. We were only a party or 6 and I found no where that stated the tip was automatically applied. I was always under the impression a tip or gratuity was at the discretion of the customer this does not appear to be the case at Modern Seafood. The prices are already inflated at this establishment this only added insult to injury. This was the first and will be the only visit here.

While we understand that portion sizes may vary, our goal is to offer a well-rounded dining experience for our customers. In regards to the automatic gratuity, it is standard practice in our peer group to charge this on parties of 6 or more. This place is truly amazing. I went there with my girlfriend and her daughter tonight. Very well decorated is the first thing to note, the staff ,the level of service were fantastic. To the point, we had a couple appetizers the grand seafood platter. the ladies had a couple drinks. We are excited to go back. This was not a cheap dinner, but the level of food and serve and envious were top notch.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Modern Ocean. Our server, kind, and attentive! The food surpassed our expectations, Came here to celebrate myson's 16th birthday, and they even had a birthday card signed and waiting for our arrival. Will be returning again soon and recommending to all our friends! Thank you for a fantastic evening & meal.

Great experience! We went for my Birthday and enjoyed the seafood platter for 2-4. It was such a fun dinner with lots of fresh seafood options to chose from.

Service was phenomenal; very friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Steak was undercooked and under seasoned (barely seasoned at all). Lobster tails were rubbery and overcooked.

Fantastic service! To start, our table ordered the calamari, ceviche, and seafood rolls. The seafood rolls were a fan favorite, but my personal favorite was the ceviche. If you love a dish that perfectly balances flavors and textures, this is the one for you. The fresh scallops serve as a fantastic vessel for the bold, spicy-tangy sauce, which effortlessly coats each bite, while the smooth, earthy flavor of the avocado ties it all together beautifully. For mains, the ahi tuna was the clear standout—absolutely exceptional. The barramundi was served with a variety of delicious sauces, each one worth savoring to the last drop. The salmon was perfectly cooked as well. While I wasn’t a fan of the risotto side dish, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our evening went swimmingly (mind the pun). They made my parents’ anniversary celebration so special—thank you for a wonderful experience!
