Mockingbird Bar + Garden is a food and drink focused gathering place in a lively, convivial setting, stylishly designed to create memorable experiences. Inspired by our desire to serve and create a sense of community we offer the perfect mix of locally sourced healthy food all cooked from our wood-fired oven. Our incredible cocktails, local beer and coffee bar combined with our events will certainly make you a regular. Al fresco dining available either in our garden, patio, or around the firepit.

We had a fantastic evening celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday. The food, ambience, drinks and company were amazing. We will definitely be back.

Overall a nice date for my wife and I. Nice atmosphere and very welcoming. Great staff, and a great patio to sit and enjoy a summer night. Drinks were great. Food was passable. We didn’t try their signature pizza (which I will go back for, one of the patrons said it was the best they have had) but did try the deviled eggs and artichoke hearts, both were ok. I really like the feel of West Dundee and where things are going and Mockingbird helps with that vibe.

While the ambience at this restaurant is lovely and quiet on the patio we had some issues from the get go. 3 people out of our party of 5 had issues with their cocktails either being made incorrectly or needing to be adjusted. Only offered one type of Gin and it was very bitter. 2 people had the grilled whole branzino and while it was very moist and good, it only came over lettuce with some pickled red onions and radishes--no real vegetable or starch. Bread was good and the steak frites was excellent. The final issue was the restaurant does not serve decaf coffee! Our party really wanted coffee and conversation after dinner so hard to understand why they don't offer that. Also just to note that inside the restaurant the music was quite loud--would never want to dine inside.

Such a great place for brunch! It is not your ordinary "brunch" food. If you are a foodie this is the place to go! The mimosa's are delicious!

We went to Mockingbird to celebrate our anniversary. We were greeted with glasses of prosecco, and when I politely said I wasn't drinking, I got a delicious mocktail instead. I love the ability to try different dishes because most of the menu is small plates. The spinach artichoke dip was to die for - so different than your typical spinach artichoke dip. Our server was great, and the owner was active in the dining room and came by our table too. The decor and vibe of the whole restaurant is so chic yet approachable, and you get a different experience at each dining area you sit in (bar, main area, garden, etc.)!

This was our first visit to Mockingbird, and what a treat it was! We shared many small plates, one better than the next. We started with the artichoke dip, which was served with their homemade bread - amazing! The chicken thighs with chimmichurri and veggie combination is amazing! Next we had the lamb lollipops - tender with a delicious whipped feta spread, which we used on our extra bread! The hot honey pepperoni pizza is delicious. Last, we had the asparagus pesto gnocchi - also delicious, but since it's a heartier dish, I suggest starting with this. For dessert, we shared the fried apple fritter with vanilla ice cream - I don't even like apple fritters, but loved this yummy dessert. We had a variety of drinks - sangria, beer, old fashioned and wine - and we enjoyed them all. The service is fantastic - our server was so friendly and attentive, plus the owner stopped by to check on us. We're so happy to have discovered this gem of a restaurant and will be visiting again soon.

The service was so slow. It wasn't especially busy. The food choices are unique, so you'll need an adventurous mindset. The food was good quality and portions. We went for lunch and sat outside.

This our new brunch spot! Love the patio, the artichokes and the creative crostatas! Have been introducing Mockingbird to new friends. Need to come back for dinner!

Service was extremely slow. Got drinks after 30 mins. Food was average given how busy they were. Been here multiple times before and it was our first time being disappointed
