Lovely room and view, restaurant was very quiet when we arrived for our reservation where we had requested an outside table. We were told they weren’t serving outside, yet less than a 1/2 hour later a gentleman was seated outside. Food was very interesting and well prepared. The service was mediocre and not worthy of a “fine dining restaurant “; the waiter seemed disinterested and between courses told us to keep our silverware. In a high end restaurant I have never been told this you always get clean silverware so the flavors don’t compete!

The staff was always amazing each time we ate here. When sitting at an outside table the dueling music from the restaurant speakers and the live music from just outside the restaurant was not enjoyable. Food was good but was confused by being told twice by waiters there was no Mahi Mahi available in Hawaii yet we had Mahi Mahi at multiple other quality restaurants across Kauai.

The seating was outside. Windy and loud. The inside was reserved for a private party which did not take the whole restaurant Food was good but the lobster was extremely hard to get out of the shell

Went out with 5 friends- spent hours just eating and talking. The food was good and Ray was wonderful! Such a beautiful setting- the moon was full, and the setting was gorgeous! Ray was attentive and kept us entertained! We highly recommend this restaurant and we will be coming back!

Such an amazing restaurant. It was a last minute book and I couldn’t be happier. The food was spectacular as was the service. Outdoor seating was beautiful with a nice breeze. Our server Art called us by our names when he came to check on us and described the specials and items on the menu.

My wife and I dined at Moa Moa on our last night on Kauai. We shared the Capresse Salad with ample serving portion but some of the the tomatoes were on the less than ripe side and the cheese lacked flavor. The basil vinaigrette was barely drizzled around the edge of the dish so that you could barely taste it We both had the macadamia nut crusted ONO substituted for MAHI MAHI. It was delicious. We had a glass of Moscato wine but the serving was pretty meager as though we were splitting the the last of a bottle. The menu options were a bit limited both on the appetizer selections as well as the main dish choices. The service was good and the outdoor setting was quiet with nice Hawaiian Music in the back ground. The view was of nice gardens but you could not see the ocean from the tables available. Food pricing was expensive but similar to other Kauai restaurants

The only thing I would change is turn off your house music playing on the restaurant when your live musician is playing. Very distracting to hear the conflicting music.

Wonderful dinner at Moa Moa last night. We were welcomed & seated immediately & water was brought. My husband ordered the Macademia crusted Ono (was a substitute for Mahi Mahi). The dish was one of the best we’ve ever had. I ordered the Scallop dish & it was also outstanding. Perfectly cooked & beautiful salad accompanied it. The service couldn’t have been better & our waiter was so personable & answered all our questions. Would definitely go here again next time we’re in Kauai.
