Since its first restaurant opening in 1993, Mo-Mo-Paradise has expanded its presence to over 20 cities throughout Asia with plans to expand further throughout the rest of the world. Currently, Mo-Mo-Paradise can be found in Japan, Taiwan, China, Thailand, Vietnam, USA, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

Our Mo-Mo-Paradise brand focuses on traditional Japanese “hot pot” with a modern twist. We offer a wide variety of quality international and local meats and vegetables that is cooked shabu-shabu or sukiyaki style at your table. Throughout Asia, Mo-Mo-Paradise has established a strong fan base due to our focus on fresh and varietal selections that are unmatched compared to other establishments. Our goal is to bring you the same quality and selections currently not offered at western shabu-shabu restaurants.

MoMo Paradise at Mira Mesa is serving a weekday lunch special! It will be a great option for those of you who don't have time to enjoy 90 minutes of AYCE shabu shabu and sukiyaki. Select broth, two plates of meat, and choose your carb! One plate of vegetables will be served per person as well. The weekday lunch special is $21.95 from 11am - 3pm (last call 2:30pm). Enjoy the full experience of a Japanese hotpot for your quick lunch!

Such a great find! Food is excellent quality and the service was amazing. Place is clean and one of the more authentic Shabu places in the area.

It was okay. Not the best shabu shabu restaurant but not terrible. I’ve had better. You have 1 pot for 4 people. Not necessarily convenient. The quality of meat was meh and service was average.

It was our favorite restaurant to eat shabu shabu. The service normally good, but this time, I don’t understand why we have a short wait when we got checked in. It was not busy. I can understand if it’s busy, but last night was not busy.

We had an awesome time for Fathers Day here. It was our first time and Olivia was very patient explaining everything. She had great suggestions and our dinner turned out wonderful!

The slices of beef were top notch! Excellent quality of meat!! Service was a bit lacking since we didn’t get our ponzu & goma sauces until we asked for them half way through the meal, sensing that something was missing. The sauces were supposed to be already on the table when we got seated. We had to constantly flag down our server because he didn’t come around enough to check up on us. No one came to serve us even though he said someone else would while he was on break. Then one of our stove stopped working as if on a timer, so we lost time to cook our meat. There were 7 of us sharing 2 pots, so the server should’ve check up on us to pour in more broth, but again, we had to flag someone down. We enjoyed our shabu shabu because the meat was such good quality, but we also had to endure listening to a baby crying at a table nearby. I guess if the tip is already included in the bill, the service can be spotty & they still get 18%… AND they add a box for extra tip!

The food was good, I wish there was a little more selection on the meats but overall good menu. The service was okay. We had to track down our server to order more stuff. The presentation of the menu when he asked if we were had been there or not was lackluster.

Nice selection of meats and veggie bar. Servers are super attentive. We ate way too much the sukiyaki broth are the way to go.
