Mnky hse is the new "it" place, the decor and the ambience is second to none, the food was good, cocktails expensive for the size, the fact there was only a coctail menu and no menu with spirits meant that I had to guess what rum I wanted rather than having a selection, which definitely isn't good enough for this type of establishment.
I don't necessarily think it is value for money as you can go to other good restaurants around the city and get just as good food but more of it for the money.
Felt like you was paying more for the gimmicks or a brand name than the actual food. Like Dior charging you £300 for a t-shirt they stuck their label on that only cost £30 to make.
Got hurried off our table after 1hr 20mins told we could happily go to the bar to find the layout of the bar and amount of staff really could not accommodate more than 7 people and after waiting 10 minutes with no sign of being able to get served at the bar for atleast another 25 mins decided it would be quicker and easier to go get a drink at the ivy.
Overall quite over priced, bar not well thought out, but the waitress who served us was fantastic, decor and ambience 5 star but won't be rushing to go back.
