Had a good time here last night. We’ve eaten here many times and the food is always great. The chicken bbq spring rolls and French onion soup were very good. The fish sandwich was also delicious. I enjoyed the creole sauce that accompanied it. My husband wasn’t a huge fan of the brisket burger but maybe that’s just personal preference. Others might think it’s great. He didn’t care for the thin beef patty topped by a fatty slice of brisket. The service was good, but a bit slower than usual. It seemed as if they were understaffed which is surprising considering there was a concert going on at the casino and it was a Saturday night.

Fast service, good value. Went to casino for a concert and made reservations, everything went smoothly.

The server was the sweetest and our food came out in a timely manner. Everything was delicious, this was our second time and we’ll definitely be back again

The waitress was great greeted us brought us overwater so where asked us if we wanted to cocktail she was back shortly. Asked us if we wanted an appetizer and Dad the French onion soup is excellent. Had a frozen sangria. That was excellent mango pineapple overall a great meal with great people.

Always enjoy MJ23 for its varied menu, good service and reservations being ready on time. Staff work hard, friendly and attentive. The only minor issue we have had last 2 visits is when ordering the Cobb salad we always ask for no blue cheese, but avocado, which is part of the salad has been left out. We never requested the omission and have had to ask our wait staff person to provide.

I had dined at the MJ steakhouse previously and that was outstanding. This was our first time at the MJ 23 bar. Service at the bar was great. Ambience was slightly lacking with cafeteria like recessed lighting. I knew this would be a more casual atmosphere but for me it was too casual. Smash burger was good, Caesar salad was good. Steak sandwich was a bit fatty, cut in cubes, should be sliced. Sauce was very garlicky and overpowering. Drinks were very good. Bartenders make a very good drink.
