You would think a MJ restaurant would have more than a few pictures of MJ on the walls. Waitress was rude and rushed us out. Unpleasant experience all around. On the bright side, we did get to eat.

With MJ’s, just being there and scoring a table or a seat at the bar, is half the fun. Well, for me, maybe the food takes up 90% and the experience, 10% (at Mohegan Sun, there are so many great restaurants, that it’s all about the food for me). With that said, there is no place - not even at the outstanding Michael Jordan’s steak restaurant next door) - on this planet (that I know of, but I don’t get out much) that you can find the toasted garlic bread tower, served with just enough of an incredibly delicious blue cheese sauce, that has been poured over the bread and forms a delicious pool of warm sauce around the plate. The first few times my wife and I ordered this, she happily took the top slice of the garlicky bread tower, not only because I’m not a fan of bleu cheese (or any cheese for that matter), but just because I crave the toasted goodness of a thick slice of sourdough bread,smothered with just the right amount of butter, generously adorned with real and garlic salt, all toasted to perfection so that you started with a bite of the soft pillow of garlicky goodness and end with a crunch through the crusty bottom of the bread. That was then - i must have got a dro of the bleu cheese sauce on a slice of bread once. Now I can’t get enough of the sauce! The combination of the garlic and bleu cheese is spectacular! I love to just soak my bread up with the stuff. Yum. The chili is unbelievable too! It’s full of steak, pinto beans and flavor. Don’t forget to ask for chef onions, cheese or sour cream or tobasco if you want, but these condiments really doesn’t add much. In my humble opinion…well, the cheese and raw onions might add something. And a dash or two (or three or a half of a bottle) of hot sauce (or Tabasco sauce, if I must) probably makes the MJ’s chili even better! Besides these two food items, we’ve tried some of the main courses, but I think you can find a better burger elsewhere, and well, a salad - I guess it’s a toss-up. Get it?

Ate there while visiting Mohegan sun casino. Good variety of good, service was friendly and quick. Reasonably priced. Would dine there again.

Great food - the nachos are the best! Our server was wonderful and kept a good eye on us even though we had an out of the way table. She even offered to change the channel on the screen we had the best view of in case we wanted to watch a specific game.

The high top tables are to close together. Food was pretty good.
