Let me start off by saying I love Mizu, and had been going to Tukwila’s location for years. They have my favorite fried rice and yakisoba of any other hibachi place I’ve been. So I was excited by the new location in Renton. It’s closer to me and the ambiance is more fun. Unfortunately, I was put off by the “okay” rating for the health inspection coming in. But it was for my partner’s birthday, and we made a reservation so we didn’t leave. The food was all pretty overcooked this time. It seems like the cook struggled with the heat a little. It was still fun, he was great to watch. It’s also really loud at this location. Maybe the materials and the higher ceilings make for a louder place. I will come back, but I need to see an improvement on their inspection grade before I come back. Hopefully it was a transition thing. I love Mizu and want it to be like my older experiences.

Loved our chef ! Ruden I believe ?! Hopefully I got his name right, I wasn’t able to tip him because I didn’t have the cash. But next time I’ll request him and make sure he knows he’s doing amazing for his first day after learning on YouTube 😂

The food was excellent, and so much of it. I had the filet and scallops. The filet was the most tender I've ever had. The scallops were exceptional, as well. Our cook was so entertaining. He really personalized our experience. We will definitely be back!

I had an amazing experience and the chef Randy was very experienced and professional and very funny. My son had a great time and the food tasted satisfying and delicious.

I'm really sorry to say all of the meat we ordered was way over done. We ordered steaks, medium, rare and rare. They were more than medium. Our chicken was way over done our lobster was chewy and crispy, so it was overdone.And our calamari very tough overdone. Our veggies had no flavor and was served after everything else. Our Experience was not very good, for the money that we spent.
