    Mitchell’s used to be a high end seafood dining experience. They were out of all Tuna on a Tuesday night, which eliminated several dishes. I ordered the grilled Halibut( one of the most expensive fish selections) and it came out over cooked like a perfectly cut block with square edges- was not fresh catch like they advertise. Bartender gave me choice of sides and order did not come out with correct sides. Side salad was an 8 dollar bowl of iceberg lettuce and the butter they served with the rolls was not real butter. I’m not one to write bad reviews but for 200 dollars I expect Great and this experience was anything but that.

    Everything about this restaurant was top notch! Birthday dinner with my mom was a huge success. All of the food was very well prepared, delicious! Our waitress was very sweet, smiled a lot and was very attentive. We were sat right away and served an a very timely manner. The food was so good that I have to mention it a second time!

    It was very busy on Father’s Day and it took a little longer than usual for our entire. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, kept our glasses full, and brought bread, salad and appetizers fairly quickly. The food was very tasty and portions were good size. Key lime pie desert was especially tart and full of flavor. Mitchell’s is always a special treat!

    We loved the ambiance, and the service was great, but the food not so much, it was very basic, like wedding hall food, and on top of that they gave us shrimp that was passed it's expiration point, it was pretty rancid, they also gave it to us as an apology to take home. In a restaurant that charges what they do for a plate they should hire a chef who can tell fresh proteins from spoiled product. We were not impressed. It was very disappointing. If the food can't match the ambiance, what's the point?

    We went to celebrate Father’s Day on Saturday as they were having a limited meal on Sunday that did not fit our needs. The food was over cooked. Temperature of food was warm, not hot. Service was good at the start but once the meal arrived we did not see our server until we had finished our dinner.

    This was our first time here celebrating a belated Mother’s Day. The food was outstanding and served piping hot which I like. I did feel like it took a long time to get our order taken, first for drinks and then for food. The food did come out quickly once ordered. Luckily we were not in a hurry and had plenty of time to enjoy visiting. We had the raw oysters for an appetizer; I was pleased to see that they were large and meaty. I had the wedge salad (which was really good enhanced with mustard seeds) and the seabass. I had never tried seabass before and it had a very rich buttery flavor which I liked. I also had the gin lavender cocktail which was sweet and different. I will be back!
