Once again, Mitchells comes through. We sat at the bar (by choice). Kylie waited on us. We asked for her to take time serving our 3 course meal (a steal at $39...). She was great! Art, the manager, also kindly stopped by to check on us. (We're somewhat regulars)... Still the best fish place in mid-michigan by far...

Took my daughter on her birthday. She wanted crab legs but it wasn’t available because of some type of over-salting issue. I ordered an Ahi Tuna entree and it was heavily salted and barely edible. Something was definitely wrong in the kitchen that day. We booked the reservation for a birthday special event, but Mitchell’s apparently doesn’t offer any ice cream or cake. Definitely don’t recommend this place for a special occasion.

Rarely do I write such a negative review of a restaurant but our food was not good. Our Caesar salad had way too much vinegar in the dressing—couldn’t eat it. My husband’s sea bass tasted very “fishy”, a sign of being too old. He couldn’t eat it. The manager took the sea bass off the bill. My crab cake was good. On the other hand, the newly updated interior is lively. Our waitress was very good.

Top notch in terms of quality and service. We had Carly as our waitress and she was funny and personable and made our experience even better. The food was made to perfection and was without a doubt the highest of quality.

The hostess (fabulous wild brown hair) was outstanding. The manager came by to check on the table…. Loved it here!

Food was very good with some new menu additions and several variations on old dishes. Bread was disappointing compared to the old sourdough bread. Service was excellent as usual. Will definitely be back for more

Our evening was wonderful. Our waitress Evan was excellent at taking care of our meal . She definitely made us feel special . Food was delicious!

The service was quite good - and that's about it. The food is neither of high enough quality nor prepared well enough for the price you are paying for it. Underseasoned, mediocre quality fish, with undercooked broccolini and overcooked couscous just made for an experience worthy of a retirement home - not a dynamic business lunch. The beer selections were also very hit and miss, bearing little to no relation to the food being served (i.e. the only pilsner/light beer they had was Miller Lite). I won't be returning.

The drinks and the app were great but both of our dinners were overcooked. The shrimp was way over done on mine and both of our salmon was over done.
