Mister Oso opened in Denver’s RiNo Arts District in the fall of 2019 and immediately received recognition as one of Thrillist’s places to “Find the Best Mexican in Denver” two years in a row, as well as being named as one of 16 “Best Restaurants in Denver” by The Infatuation. Our team continues to explore the playful and flavorful menu at Mister Oso with rotating taco dishes, Peruvian cebiche, and crudo, as well as crave-worthy vegetarian offerings.

The vibrant energetic atmosphere lends itself perfectly to a night out with friends or casual date night. The transportive vibes are enhanced with the tropical plants and decor as the seasonal menu and agave-spirits cocktail bar afford a micro vacation from the bustle of RiNo, Our inventive Non-Alcoholic Agua Fresca cocktail program ensures that everyone gets to enjoy a delicious, hand-crafted beverage.

We went to the Gingerbread House Decorating party. So. Much. Fun. Everyone got a gingerbread house kit, a delicious birria arepa, and a cocktail or mocktail. There was also a DJ playing holiday music. We had a great time building our houses, which came out cute, and really appreciated not having to clean up our icing mess! This is a fun activity I would recommend to friends or families. We were two generations of adults, but there were a few kids there. Most were 20 and 30-something’s. Oh, we also ordered guacamole and queso that were yummy!

Loved it! Food was excellent… must get squash salad and coconut rice! Already booked next visit.

A fun place to eat with great food. We had a family dinner here with our adult kids. Had shishito pepper appetizer which was amazing and shared a bunch of tacos. The only item that was an issue was the pitcher of margaritas - it says it serves 5 and we barely got 4. It ended up being a hefty price for 4 margs. Next time we'll just order individually. Otherwise our experience was fabulous.

We had a wonderful experience at Mister Oso. Five of us ate family style, and we enjoyed the happy hour nachos, guacamole, and queso followed by the deconstructed duck, chicken, and pork tacos. We also had various margaritas and one agua fresca. Every single dish was delicious. The fresh ingredients, smoky meats, and complex sauces elevate dishes above ordinary. Service was solid, too, from the charming and helpful hostess to our knowledgable and friendly server to the swift and skilled kitchen staff. We will be back!

Awesome food and vibe. The duck tacos were great but not really big enough for two people and that is how they are sold. One duck leg to split wasn’t enough for both of us.

The service was slow. It took 20 minutes to get a drink after ordering and then the waiter dropped the drinks didn't ask if we were ready to order our meal and didn't come back for another 20 minutes to take our food order. ordered a Caesar salad with chicken. The chicken was pink in parts and not fully cooked which was concerning. The waiter didn't come back for 20+ minutes after dropping our food so I just ate the lettuce and removed the chicken. Also, there was barely any chicken no that I ate it. For the price I'd expect more portion.
