Located in the landmarked former Highland Park Soda Fountain Building in Dallas, Mister Charles is Duro Hospitality’s most ambitious restaurant and bar. With irreverent takes on indulgent French and Italian dishes, elevated cocktails, rare wines, opulent over the top design and soaring 38-ft. ceilings, Mister Charles is redefining Dallas’ dining and tippling scene.

Located at 3219 Knox St., Mister Charles is open for dinner seven days a week.

Food we liked. We dealt with 2 servers. 1 was experienced and very nice the other was struggling to server water and do the basics of serving. Ambiance was pleasant and wr had a good time overall.

Exceptional in every way! From the ambiance to the service to the food - there is simply not a better restaurant in the USA. Internationally only the Jules Vern in the Eiffel Tower comes close. Yet while the Jules Verne is exceptional it takes itself seriously where Mister Charles is classy yet playful!

The lime cocktail still being on the menu even thought it is seasonal was disappointing. The food was amazing!

The parking situation is terrible, I will just go to The Charles and enjoy the evening without the headache.

One of the most beautiful restaurants I've visited. Arguably the best looking restaurant in Dallas, Mister Charles oozes elegance and class without succumbing to the trap of seeming stuffy or old fashioned. The food was masterfully well made, with my steak stealing the show. I was not expecting a 22 oz ribeye to be so well made and was expecting to enjoy a delicious but unremarkable piece of meat. I was delighted to find a dish with cascading and with interesting flavors that far surpassed your typical steakhouse. The potatoes that came with it were excellent, as was the beef wellington. However, despite the beef wellington being their signature dish, I found the steak to be much more impressive. We also enjoyed the octopus, which was flavorful and tender. The beignets were good but nothing special. I had the foie gras canape and found the single bite to be worth every penny of the $8 price tag. We tried each of the desserts and the culinary skills shined in each dish. The baked Alaska is Instagram worthy and oh so delicious with that great banana flavor. Although I personally loved the chocolate cake the most. The wine list is high quality and not too outrageous. The availability to half bottles was much appreciated, especially considering the quality of the offerings. Wine lovers won't be disappointed. The service was professional, attentive, and above par. However, it was slow, which resulted in the only blemish for the evening. We had reservations at 7:15 and were not seated until after 7:45. The restaurant made up for it by serving 4 truffle cheddar and prosciutto grilled cheese canapes (which were amazing). Nor were we the only ones waiting. However, it seems that the restaurant may be waiting too long to take orders and moving slower than it should. But who cares? As long as you get a seat, it's worth the wait. 9/10

Absolutely perfect in every way. The food was superb and the service was what you should expect from a fine dining restaurant. It was truly a wonderful experience.
