Located in the landmarked former Highland Park Soda Fountain Building in Dallas, Mister Charles is Duro Hospitality’s most ambitious restaurant and bar. One of the most glamorous openings of 2023, D Magazine dubbed this Highland Park spot the best among a new wave luxe restaurants in Dallas. Mister Charles revamped a historic soda fountain and revealed a stunning dining room with black-and-white floors, ornate columns, and crystal chandeliers. The French and Italian menu is just as over the top, riffing on the classics with lobster roll canapés and Texas wagyu Wellington.

The Beef Wellington and the Uni shell carbonara were amazing and I’m very selective on what I think is an outstanding dish. Really exceeded my expectations!

Took my girlfriend for our anniversary and it was very nice. Staff was very professional and food was outstanding.

An experience not soon to be forgotten, Mister Charles an Italian inspired gem in the heart of Dallas. The collaboration of this hospitality group demonstrates the right mix of excellence in service, thoughtfulness in preparation and ingredients, and a warm welcoming atmosphere. From beginning to end the meal and service was superb, bravo!

Food was great from the grilled cheese truffle canapés, crab cakes, carpaccio and short rib beef Wellington!!! The dessert would have been good but used way too much fuel, it got burnt and blew it out so it had a charred fuel taste (in hindsight should have requested another. Service started very good, got a little slow a couple of times.

Wow was this place great! Food was phenomenal, our waiter was stupendous, and did I mention the place is stunning!

The crab cake was so fishy I couldn’t eat it. Shocked at the price of Dover sole. I get it at my favorite restaurants for around$50 and a much larger size! Didnt care for menu selections. Our waiter Yann was excellent and ambience was beautiful. Surprised to see men in there with baseball hats. Mister Charles is way too classy for that. Just more selection on menu and ill return

Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the food was fabulous, and I could not have asked for a better anniversary dinner!

Enjoyed the canape had the egg salad and truffle grilled cheese. It was the entrees that lost me, my husband had the lamb loin and I had the chicken. Both read beautifully on the menu but arrived smothered in the same red wine Demi glacé sauce, which covered up the flavor of the components the dish, didn’t like either one. I expected better.
