D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Ce penthouse luxueux, ouvert depuis 1965, a atteint de nouveaux sommets après avoir été réaménagé de façon spectaculaire. Grâce à un nouveau salon, les clients bénéficient d'une plus belle vue sur la ligne d'horizon. Le restaurant franco-américain met en valeur les produits locaux dans des plats anciens comme les crevettes bleues grillées accompagnées de shishitos roussis et le flétan d'Alaska rôti à la poêle avec du maïs.

Mister A's will be offering a Jazz Brunch with New Orleans inspired cuisine along with our a la carte brunch menu. The Jazz brunch will only be featured on Saturdays and will include the option of listening to live music in the bar before being seated in the main dining room for an a la carte menu. Music will conclude at 1pm.

On Thursday, November 28th Mister A's will only be offering a 3-course prix fixe Thanksgiving Menu for $105.00 per person (exclusive of tax, service charge & surcharge). Guests must cancel at least 48 hours in advance in order to avoid a $75 per person cancellation charge. Menu will be available shortly on website. A children's menu will be offered for $45.00 for ages 12 and under.

Mr. A's is amazing. Great ambience, friendly staff, they do a great job of keeping the noise level down despite having a lot of diners. The outdoor patio offers a great view of downtown. Their specialty cocktails are great, and honestly, for the quality priced just right. We had the smoke and mirrors, mango from durango, burnt orange old fashioned and a pilsner they serve. Our server Katie and the bartender Angelo were really attentive and polite. Everything we tried was amazing. Bluefin tiradito, wagyu tartare, red top pork belly, the soup du jour: red pepper bisque, for starters. Our mains were the salmon wellington and the wild caught Alaskan halibut, with the sage hill carrots, crispy brussels sprouts and mushroom persillade for sides. Finished it off with the pumpkin cheesecake, brown butter honey crispy apple cobbler. It was a memorable experience for us.

This is our goto spot, there is no better place in the city of San Diego where the food, atmosphere and view are matched. The Halibut was amazing as well as the NY Strip, don’t forget to order the bread to start and the snow pea ravioli was out of this world! Although safe to say you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Our server was amazing but honestly the entire staff is so courteous, dining here is truly an experience!

From the moment you step out of the elevator your experience at Mr. A’s will blow your mind! The view for starters! The classy vibe and the very attentive waiters will transform you back to a golden era of San Diego when dressing up for dinner was the norm and outstanding cuisine was expected. That is why I keep returning to Mr. A’s because I know my classy attire will fit right in and I will experience a high end, 5 star meal at the top of a beautiful building over looking my beloved city of San Diego .

Our food, service and view were amazing in every way, thank you. Bill waited on us hand and foot and his service was exemplary. Mr. A’s has always been a very special place in our family since the early 70’s. To enumerate the generational celebrations could possibly fill several pages! Thank you.

A lovely experience! We had a sommelier help us select an amazing wine. And the food was delicious and very fresh! The only thing we did not enjoy was the risotto with the lobster tail

My husband and I went to Mister A’s for our 3rd yr anniversary. We were blown away by the ambiance, service, and the food! Our server was the best in recommending great food selection. The food came out with great care and presentation. And the quality was *chef’s kiss*! Definitely recommend checking out Mister A’s and will definitely go back in the future.

Went for our anniversary. Food was delicious, service was great! Had a outdoor table with a beautiful view of the city skyline while watching the sunset from our table. Would 100% recommend. Will definitely be back.
