D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Ce penthouse luxueux, ouvert depuis 1965, a atteint de nouveaux sommets après avoir été réaménagé de façon spectaculaire. Grâce à un nouveau salon, les clients bénéficient d'une plus belle vue sur la ligne d'horizon. Le restaurant franco-américain met en valeur les produits locaux dans des plats anciens comme les crevettes bleues grillées accompagnées de shishitos roussis et le flétan d'Alaska rôti à la poêle avec du maïs.

Mister A's will be offering a Jazz Brunch with New Orleans inspired cuisine along with our a la carte brunch menu. The Jazz brunch will only be featured on Saturdays and will include the option of listening to live music in the bar before being seated in the main dining room for an a la carte menu. Music will conclude at 1pm.

We made res 2 months in advance for the Sat after Valentines Day. We arrived promptly at 6:25 for 6:30 res. First they tried to seat us right in front of the noisy main room bar, with the cocktail shakers going wild and waiters scurrying back and forth. Then they tried to seat us in the back at a table pushed up against the service/waiters' station. Finally we settled for a table in the bar. Not at all what we hd in mind for a lovely dinner out. We have gone there in the past with better luck, and I realize it was a busy night, but really. They should not overbook their restaurant so terribly, even in the name of profit.

First impression when we walked in the hostess was very snooty and rude. Ambience was beautiful. ordered the lamb chops. The waitress said came with 4 to 6. I was gonna share it with my husband and get another entrée and it came with only three so we each got one and a half wish she could’ve been a little more . Food was good but not outstanding.

Food and drinks were amazing, service was even better (shout out to Roman) and the live Jazz was the cherry on top.

We hadn’t been to Mr. A’s in a quite a few years. The service and food was excellent, but we were very surprised to pay a 20% service charge for two people.

Mister A's did not disappoint for their prix fixe Valentine's Day dinner, and our server Wendy was a delight! While I went with French Onion soup, scallops, and a filet, the menu options were varied for different tastes including vegetarian. My husband enjoyed the shrimp and crab cocktail and Chilean Sea Bass. Delicious! We'll be back for the Jazz brunch.

Visiting our daughter from Chicago for the week. Mister As did not disappoint. The ambiance, food and service was exceptional. Izzy was engaging and attentive to assure our dining experience was extraordinary. We were seated w a beautiful view of the ocean. Everything was brought out at a timely manner and we never felt rushed. Best Caesar salad w every leaf laced w dressing . The king salmon Wellington was unlike any salmon I’ve ever tried. The braised short rib was flavorful n simply superb (not fatty). The rack of lamb along w lamb stuffed cherry tomatoes was also delicious. There r so many fine restaurants in SD, but this by far one to revisit for us.

We had a wonderful evening at Mister A's. Our server was Rory and he was friendly, attentive and very informative. The view is always a showstopper, and the food was perfectly cooked. I highly recommend the King Salmon, Chilean Seabass and the Tenderloin. The Truffle fries and brussels sprouts were excellent as well. They never rush you, but the services isn't slow either. Outstanding all around.
