Finally after all of they hype, I’m able to get to Miss Toyas. For a Cajun cuisine, it wasn’t Cajun in terms of seasoning. Fried items were fried well and food was hot. But nothing was so good that it made us want to come back. Appetizers, drinks, entrees and even dessert were all brought out within 2-3 min of each other, making it hard to enjoy. Who brings out temperature sensitive dessert (beignets and ice cream) at the same time as the entree if not requested? Drinks were not cold and required us to ask for more ice. It wasn’t bad, but I think this place could take a look at redefining excellent service … and please add the CAJUN.

The service was terrible the waitress never came to the table to greet us until 75 minutes after we were already seated. Another waitress kept telling us she was coming and she graciously put our order in so we wouldn’t have to wait but our actual waitress was a jerk. She had tables right next to us and she would look over at us and completely ignored us. I asked for the manager to let him know and it didn’t change anything. Never again I’m big on customer service. Also it took the same poor waitress like 30 mins to give us our check just created longer wait time for others.

Outstanding food that was tasty and good portions. Especially loved the fish and grits, French toast breakfast, wings, and hurricane drink. The staff could use a little more training, but that did not deter from my overall experience
