    Boy what a massive disappointment. Had high expectations considering it is a Shaya restaurant at the Four Seasons. After this dining experience my assumption is that the Shaya group has very little to actually do with this restaurant. I cannot point to a single thing this restaurant does well. It started off poorly when they were 30 minutes behind schedule to seat us. Then as e we walked in we overheard another diner speaking to the staff requesting to speak to the manager. We joked about maybe we should just leave. Wish we had. Once we sat down 30 minutes after our reservation we saw our server for about 2 minutes and then nothing for 30 minutes. It’s now 1 hour after our reservation time and we don’t even have bread on the table. Once we reminded the staff about that it came out quickly but we didn’t get plates for another 20 minutes. This was our 10th year doing a Reveillon dinner with our close group of friends and this was by far the worst experience. The first course wasn’t terrible but not memorable either. The best thing I can remember about it was someone saying the sauce was “pretty good but not as good as Cane’s sauce”. The second course things got worse. Either some lettuce with a sprinkling of mushrooms or turtle chili. They called it soup but it was lukewarm chili. No sherry brought to the table either. The main course things didn’t get better. My duck course was overcooked and the only knife I had to use was my dirty butter knife from earlier in the evening. Our server wasn’t terrible but not good either. Seemed like they did not have enough staff which is unacceptable for a meal that costs $200/person (included a mediocre wine pairing - same wine was served to everyone whether it paired with the dish or not). There is no way I could recommend this place to anyone. What a waste of time and money. I usually don’t leave reviews but I’m honestly mad. I feel like I was robbed.

    Blue Crab Au Gratin and Pork Chop were fabulous. Ambience and noise level were not what we expected for an evening dinner.

    Excellent food and service. The pork chop was incredible as was the red beans and rice. The bread pudding was the perfect ending to a memorable meal.

    We went for a “beignets with Santa” brunch. The atmosphere was great and the adult’s food was good. However, with the kids brunch priced at $45, the food was little better than a frozen dinner. The chicken tenders were spongy and cheap in appearance, and the beignets were good, but it was one per child. It just did not add up to a $45 dollar per person experience. I would go back for brunch, but I would stay away from the kids menu as for that price they deserve better.

    The truffle fries were a total letdown. Whatever was shaved on top had absolutely zero flavor, and the absurd market price made it even worse. I can’t believe they would serve basically a large order of fries for 46 dollars and it was so bland. We had a large party ordering many dishes, nobody left the dinner happy from the food.
