Always consistently great, this is my 4th time there when visiting from Toronto. Never disappoints. The grilled avocado is something else!

Overall “eh” experience for my birthday dinner. They didn’t really pay attention to the reservation notes and had to be reminded of the occasion and seating preference. Shishito peppers were so good we ordered twice, best pork belly I’ve ever had, wagyu tartare was both the worst and most expensive thing on the menu.

I sat in the bar by the window. Glorious view of the river and surroundings. Bartender was excellent and I am fussy. Food was a bit pricey but also excellent.

Was excited to Miru in the new Saint Regis space in Lakeshore East. We didn’t particularly connect with our server so it was difficult to get a read on the menu. It’s a shareable dining experience and we didn’t get a great handle on how many dishes to order by talking to our waiter. We winged it and got a few appetizers that were excellent. The Shishido peppers. The gem salad were standouts however the signature dish, the crispy fish which we’ve had many times at many restaurants was really not good. It was undercooked on the inside, super salty, and generally not edible. It was a huge disappointment. We left 3/4 of the fish on the plate and never got any questions about how the food was. I wasn’t interested in complaining without being asked a question.
