We had a wonderful time from start to finish. Our server was Aiden and he was just wonderful, charming, and knowledgeable. The ambiance is great for a date night, and the menu options are impressive. The prices are fair, and the portions are generous. This is a spot definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

Mio Modo is our favorite restaurant in the South Elgin/Geneva area! We moved from Chicago and was so happy to find Mio here! Great Italian Restaurant and wonderful staff!

It was a cute restaurant,the food was good,but it was very busy the waiter had too many big tables so the service was slow.

Date night for my wife and I. We were early and seated promptly in the remodeled dining room at the back of the restaurant. Menu had some excellent choices. Both of us enjoyed drinks, an app, and dinners.

Came here for a birthday dinner, and mentioned this in the comments. Also requested the high chair seating by the bar in the reservation but were led to the regular seating area. After mentioning this, we were seated at the “high chair” table by the bar, not at the bar. I chose this due to the noise level that I heard about so we could sit closer and have quality conversation without the need to yell across the table. This is my only complaint along with not accommodating that it was a surprise birthday dinner. I could have called ahead of time and will do so for other bookings. Served that we had was excellent however 5/5, food comes out immediately so order accordingly so you’re not rushing your meal and drinks. Food was delicious. Drinks were also excellent. May consider coming back, but probably not for celebratory events.

The place was great. Our waiter was very nice and always attentive. I didn’t give 5 stars to food because 2 people complained about the pasta being salty.
