Minami is the fourth culinary concept from ABURI Restaurants, alongside sister venues Miku Toronto, ABURI TORA and ABURI HANA, further expanding the reach of our trailblazing aburi cuisine within the Toronto culinary scene.

Fashioned to reflect the best of global design, guests are invited to immerse themselves in the space for a multisensory dining experience without departing the city. Showcasing contemporary Japanese fare and an extensive selection of signature cocktails, wines, and spirits, Minami’s diverse offerings, sultry interior, and commitment to safety set the new King West standard.

Join us for an unforgettable New Year's Eve at Minami with a special $150 tasting menu, featuring dishes like our Japanese Wagyu Carpaccio, Five-piece Sushi Selection, and an indulgent entrée with Japanese Wagyu, Saikyo-marinated Trout, and Seared Scallop. Pre-book the New Year's experience and receive a complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival! Enjoy a lively atmosphere with Minami's favourite DJ, DJ DevoDLive, spinning from 7pm until late. A condensed à la carte, alongside the tasting menu, will also be available. A credit card is required to book; a $50 cancellation fee applies for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours. host was great, server was almost absent and was super slow taking our order then ordered with a different server and order came out crazy fast. The location is great especially for a pre or post theatre option. we were there for happy hour which was amazing and delicious.

Wonderful place in the heart of the city! We celebrated the anniversary here and everything was amazing form start to finish! My personal fav was the duck and my husband enjoyed roasted wagyu striploin. Salmon crudo and oshi sushi were great too. The space and atmosphere were nice, and server was very attentive. Handwritten card for anniversary was a very nice touch. We will definitely be back!

The level of service was extremely disappointing, especially considering it was for a special occasion. It's crucial to have someone skilled in customer relationship management, rather than continuing to frustrate customers with their arrogant justifications.

had our one year anniversary dinner and minami took care of us leaving a thoughtful note from the GM Nicholas, servers were also very sweet and the sushi… 10/10.
