Vancouver’s hottest destination for contemporary Japanese cuisine has arrived in Toronto’s vibrant King West neighbourhood.

Minami is the fourth culinary concept from ABURI Restaurants, alongside sister venues Miku Toronto, ABURI TORA, ABURI HANA, and ABURI SUSHI Waterworks further expanding the reach of our trailblazing aburi cuisine within the Toronto culinary scene.

Fashioned to reflect the best of global design, guests are invited to immerse themselves in the space for a multi-sensory dining experience without departing the city. Join us for an unforgettable New Year's Eve with a special 5-course tasting menu, priced at $150 per person. This special menu features: - BC Lobster Roll - Japanese Wagyu Carpaccio ft. charred apple puree, fig, kimizu, Japanese chilli - Five-piece Aburi Sushi & Oshi Selection - Entrée of Japanese Wagyu, Saikyo-marinated Trout, and Seared Scallop - Matcha Strawberry Parfait Pre-book the experience and receive a complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival! Enjoy a lively atmosphere with Minami's favourite DJ DevoDLive, spinning from 7 pm until late. A condensed à la carte menu will also be available alongside the tasting menu. A credit card is required to book, and a $50 cancellation fee applies for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours.

I’ve had many fantastic experiences at Minami, and this time I booked a dinner for my parents. They had an absolutely wonderful time and were thrilled with the food. I had several special requests for the reservation, and Nicholas and his team went above and beyond in ensuring everything was perfect. The service was impeccable, and the attention to detail truly made the evening memorable. Thank you so much to the team for creating such a wonderful experience for us — we’ll definitely be back!

Hi I made this reservation very early. I was not sure how to put in my reservation that we wanted a certain table by the window. We were fortunately moved to the table we wanted. As always the food was good. The nacho's new on the menu were considered a big success. Thank you for a lovely meal.

A lovely experience and a spot to try for fusion Japanese. The team is customer engaged and food is amazing. Please give them a try, if you love Japanese or just want to try something different and are new to fusion.

Great location to meet up with friends after work in the business district. Sushi was so fresh and high quality. We all enjoyed the tasting menu!

The food was amazing and the atmosphere was so relaxing with the mood lighting. The service was a bit slow at the beginning but when the food started to be served it picked up and we got out of their just in time for our show across the street. Everyone was really friendly and made us feel welcomed. I would definitely recommend this place!

Had a great experience here for my partner’s birthday. We had the sablefish, duck, beef pot roast and the calamari. For drinks we had the sparkling water and passionfruit cocktails. We tried to have some of the foods marked with a Michelin star which was a first for us. It was a little pricey but was a great experience with overall.

Minami offers a truly delightful dining experience. The environment is warm and inviting, with a cozy and refined ambiance. While it was a bit noisy, it didn’t take away from the overall charm. The service was attentive, the menu beautifully curated, and the dishes absolutely delicious. The pacing of the courses was well-timed, allowing us to savor each one. It was a wonderful evening in great company. Highly recommended!
