We thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Mim’s while vacationing on St.Thomas. The staff was so warm and welcoming, we felt like we were at an Auntie’s house for dinner (with a table on an oceanfront patio). The food was delish and service extremely warm and friendly. Absolutely delightful experience!

We visited Mim’s after getting a recommendation from our resort concierge…. The setting is very nice, close to the water. We ordered the conch fritters to start - they were fine, but not remarkable. My wife ordered the coconut curry lobster - even the small size she ordered was huge! It was very tasty. I ordered the crab and shrimp pasta. There was ample shrimp, but very little crab, aside from small bits in the sauce. But the proportion of sauce to pasta/seafood was off - there was way too much sauce, such that it was very soupy once you ate more than about 1/3 of the “solids”. I pointed this out at the end of the meal to our waitress, who remarked that she had noticed the excess sauce when she was bringing the dish out! Unfortunately the sauce washed out the rest of the dish. The service was also not stellar. While friendly, we had to wait a long time to place our order, as well as to get the final bill. On a couple of occasions, the manager jumped in to take care of things where she noticed that the waitress wasn’t keeping up. (The manager was excellent, the issue was with the waitress assigned.) It was a little hit-or-miss, as indicated by the rating. Not terrible, but not as good as we were hoping.

Great setting. Very disappointed to learn they no longer have the “all you can eat shrimp” since the pandemic..

It was a really quaint restaurant right on the ocean shore. The staff were friendly and attentive. Only complaint was that they only cooked lobster two ways. The baked was delish, but they need to add steamed as an option.

They were rude food was overpriced but tasty I put it was a birthday and they did nothing to honor that
