I realize it was Christmas Eve but we made a reservation and we got set 25 minutes late, they were out of most of the food items. I got cold coffee. It was hard to get drink refills. Our total experience took over two hours. When the food did come out, it was awful. We were put in a back room with nobody else said it was cold with no music. The icing on the cake was when the server said “I want to kill myself” in front of my Family! Never again.

We had reservations for Christmas Eve. We had to wait for a while to even be greeted and then when we were finally seated there was not enough help. There was not a hostess and the servers and kitchen help took quite a while to get our order or our food. We were told they were out of chicken strips for children but the chicken and waffles had dried up chicken strips on it. The food was just not good . The kids macaroni and cheese was dried up and that was after being told there was no chicken strips which was our orignal order . Our server was pleasant but unfortunately she was so busy we never received drink refills or follow up until we asked for the check. Other patrons walked out because they were never greeted to be put on the wait list. Unfortunately there was not enough help so the restaurant should not have taken reservations if they didn’t have the ability to provide service or quality food.

The food was great! We were seated in the back dining area for my sons college graduation, which worked out perfectly for our larger group. Our server was very accomodating and even offered to take our group photos. The meeting planner created a unique menu for us and the prices were reasonable. When visiting the Knoxville area, Mi Mi's Cafe will now be a repeat stop for us.

I went to Mimi’s for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The restaurant was nice and quiet, but cold (probably because it was only 9 am and it was chilly outside). But the service was excellent - Dawn was top notch. She recommended the crab cakes benedict which was very good! Will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Great alternative to cooking a holiday meal for two people. Great food and our waitress was darling!

Mimi’s had a nice interior overall, although I would suggest some repairs to the booth seats in the bistro area. We had breakfast on a Saturday morning. The food presentation was great, however, the food quality was average at best. Eggs and potatoes came with a lot of salt. One of us had brown avocado slices on their breakfast sandwich. The creamer cups that came with our coffees were reused. One had brown stains on it, another one had gone bad and tasted like sour milk. Our server was fantastic! We paid too much for the quality we received. Overall, I think better leadership in the kitchen could easily address these issues.

Our ladies group enjoyed having a table for 8 set for us and the food was very good. The waitress was attentive and overall it was a nice experience.

Overall, we would probably come back because it is convenient and the menu is large. Our server was friendly and attentive. I thought many of the menu items were expensive for this level of restaurant. $16+ for an omelet... too much.
