We went there for brunch and it was easily the best Mexican breakfast food we’ve had in Calgary. The portions were large and very reasonably priced. They have a brunch happy hour with cocktails at $12 and mimosas at $4, with fresh squeezed juices. The staff were all super friendly and genuine. You’d be making a huge mistake by eating brunch anywhere else.

Very chic atmosphere and delicious food. Prices are on par for most 17th Ave restaurants. A little disappointed that it took more than a half hour to be seated for an 8 PM reso. Understandable that Friday nights are busy but there were at least 4 other reservations waiting for tables at the same time. I don't mind waiting for a table as many restaurants do not take reservations or use a wait list, however I have never waited that long for a reservation so it was a bit of a detractor from an otherwise wonderful evening. Would definitely dine here again, though perhaps as a walk-in would be best.

What can I say everything was amazing - loved the staff - they were truly proud of the food and boy was it spectacular. Found it from a Reddit thread on Calgary restaurants that had a wow factor but not over hyped - exactly fit that description. Thank you!

Food was good, but the drinks and service was poor. I understand the staff was busy with a full restaurant, but it felt like we were being ignored at times. Maybe having more staff would be beneficial

We had a reservation here for our anniversary and were excited to try the food based on the good reviews. When we arrived there was only 1 server for the entire restaurant, which we thought was odd. When ordering drinks and appetizers we found out that 2 servers didn’t show up for work so the 1 person working was absolutely slammed. The solo server did a great job trying to accommodate but after 45 minutes without drinks and no food order (only appetizer) we decided to leave early. One server couldn’t possibly keep up with 15+ tables and seat people . This was no fault to the server at all, they were doing amazing! Suggestion to owners/managers; if that situation arose again please advise customers at the door and maybe limit number of tables. We completely understand that no show employees can happen. We will be back to try the food as the food that was being served around us looked amazing. The drinks and appetizers that we did get to enjoy were super yummy as well.

Excellent mexicsn food, and I am not a lover of la cocina mexicana. Service could have been better. I loved the interior!

We heard good things so went to try it out. The food was alright, nothing special. Service was slow, asked for extra tortillas and ended up getting the bill before it even showed up. Got the fish tacos, carnitas and queso fundido. The flavours were just not there. And the portions for the process point we disappointing. There’s lots of better Mexican food places in the city.
