    If you have the option of a chef's curated menu by a chef of that caliber, why would you choose any other option? The food and the beverage pairings went together perfectly. My wife and I enjoyed an evening of absolutely stellar food fantastic ambience and a meal we won't soon forget.

    We have been to Millwrights many times. The food, service and ambience have generally been excellent. Millwrights used to offer dining on their former covered (but not enclosed) bridge, which overlooked the historic building and substantial waterfall. They have recently renovated the bridge completely, doubling the area for diners and enclosed it so it can used year-round. The design, decor and general lack of ambience in this renovated space is completely at odds with the rest of the dining areas. We ate on the bridge last night, it has all the charm of a nice cafeteria. Also, the waterfall, which is a feature Millwrights is famous for, has always been lighted in prior visits as soon as it got dark outside. It provided great atmosphere in the dining areas. Last night, we were there for at least 45 minutes after dark........no lights in the waterfall.

    Best dinner in Hartford County! In Simsbury which was also beautiful. Ordered chicken was especially delicious. Kale salad was fantastic and I generally don't like kale. Wine... yum! Husband had scallops he liked but would not repeat. The ambience and service could not have been better. (Request Rebecca)The view!!! Gorgeous

    In comparison to past Millwrights visits, typically outstanding, last night felt a little lacking. Service was amazing as always. Menu cocktails seemed underwhelming, dealers choice cocktails seemed to fit the bill. The food was decent, but seemed to be better a couple weeks ago when we last went and ordered a few of the same dishes. We’ll definitely be back but checking the menu options ahead of reservations

    Always a memorable experience. We had the chef’s tasting menu and the food was exceptional! Highly recommend the tasting menu, 5 courses of incredible food. The Old Fashioned was very good. Millwright’s never disappoints.

    The best We have always loved this wonderful romantic restaurant, it never disappoints! Food, ambiance, wine, service absolutely outstanding!

    This is a favorite place to eat, going back to when it was “Hopbrook”. The new bridge section is beautiful!
