    I ordered the Black Sea Bass which was over cooked. My wife had the Scallops and my kids had the Duck BLTs, both of these were excellent. I would recommend against ordering the fish.

    Surprisingly disappointing. The food was good, but portions are very small. Our server pressured us to put in our entree order, and once it came, we did not see her again. I needed to walk out to find someone so we could pay. Nice view of the waterfall but not the experience I expected.

    Great location and ambience however, the food is a little overpriced for the value. You can tell that the shrimp has been frozen. If you know and value good shrimp, do not get the shrimp cocktail. We did get a complimentary glass of champagne for the occasion which was nice. I gave it a 4 overall because of the ambience but I will most likely not be back.

    The chef’s tasting menu was five courses of fabulous varied tastes, nicely complimented by wines and outstanding service.

    Lovely table near waterfall. Nice menu w/ locally sourced food and "farm to table" type feel. I had breast of duck which came very undercooked. They were very apologetic and gave it some more heat. It was my birthday, which they asked about in advance. They gave me a card that said "happy birthday". What for? This was almost insulting. A little birthday "perk" might have been in order. Bread needs to be ordered. They are johnny cakes, which were fabulous but only 4 to an order for $9. We needed two orders. This bugs me a bit as prices are not inexpensive here. I don't think it would kill them to give one basket for free and charge for additional. Very enjoyable meal.

    We love Millwrights and usually go once a year for a special occasion and always enjoy the tasting menu immensely. But I don't think it's worth it anymore. We were excited to try seating on the bridge, but it wasn't as nice as the dining room. The decor just looked a bit more bare. Of course no fault of the restaurant, but an infant and a toddler were behind us, banging toys, crying and clearly needed to go outside. So the atmosphere just wasn't there for a nice birthday dinner. The service was also not what they had in the past. There were two people there, so I assume someone was training. While they were lovely, we felt rushed. The 1st course of watermelon crudo came out at the same time as the biscuits, popcorn app, and puff pastry. I think they should have been spaced out and a side plate should have been provided for the biscuits. Later, I was eating my last bite of lamb when they asked if I was ready for the dessert. There were still a couple tables there, so I'm not sure why we were feeling rushed. The food was still delicious, but the tasting menu wasn't as memorable as it has been in the past and the portions were much smaller. We'd certainly go back and try appetizers and entrees, but the tasting menu has lost its value. Overall it was not the experience it should have been for nearly $300.

    Creative dishes like the spicy watermelon crudo & banh mi inspired foie gras really stood out. Not only were they cerebral and well thought out but executed really well. Wine list has a lot of hidden gems. It’s hard to beat half off wine night. Treated to excellent service as always. Millwrights is always a good bet for a great dinner.

    The restaurant itself is very beautiful. The hostess was lovely. Our waitress was lovely but the problem is she never came back. She never came back to ask if we wanted refills on our drinks. She never came back to ask if our food was OK. She just never came back. Finally we had to ask the manager for our check. Very disappointing and will not be back. The food was a 3 out of a 5.
