Really delicious meals in a quaint setting. Always great service. A little pricey, but a go-to for special occasions. We love doing the tasting, paired with wine, it never disappoints.

I haven't been to Millwright's since September 2021 during the pandemic and we had a celebration outside in cold weather.It was time to return and we arranged to celebrate my birthday on Saturday evening 9/14/24.We sat in the main dining room overlooking the waterfall. Dylan,the host took us to our table and we were greeted by Joe, our young waiter. He took our drink order, a bourbon drink for my husband and a glass of Sancerre for my mother, which was the only sauvignon option by the glass. I wanted something spicy, and sweet with mezcal and his response was: We have mezcal and can make most things, no offer to check w/ the bartender about a tasty option I opted for a can of cider instead. My mother's wine was brought in a small carafe and poured into her glass. When she went to have a taste, she noticed a dead insect floating at the top. The waited apologized and removed the glass replacing it with another wine glass already filled with wine, no carafe. One may think they simply removed the bug since the wine was sent back to her already poured. Thought a nice gesture would have been to take the wine off the bill, but it didn't happen. No bread since COVID We ordered 4 appetizers: charred broccoli and halloumi cheese, kale Caesar salad, tapioca custard and a vegetarian entree of oyster mushrooms.We loved the Caesar kale salad with lemony brightness w/ fried chick peas.The tapioca custard was redolent of clam chowder and the sea doted with crunchy bits of celery breaking up the creamy texture. We loved this app. The oyster mushrooms were on a bed of tahini enhanced with ginger and XO sauce. Great concept, but a big fail. the mushrooms were so salty rendering them inedible.We gave most of the dish to my husband who likes salt in his food and told the waiter our concerns after which he said he would share this information with the chef.We ordered 2 black cod entrees and one duck breast, which were both delicious. Desserts were delicious & nicely presented. 7.5/10

We vistied for the first time for my husband's birthday. We were seated promptly. The attentive waitstaff made our long wait for our mains pleasant. The manager apologized profusely for the delay, due in part to a wedding reception. The food was fantastic and the chef's creativity shown in the chicken and scallop dinners. We shall be back.

My boyfriend surprised me with a birthday dinner here. This was an out of this world amazing culinary experience! The food was exquisite, the wine pairings superb, service nothing less than exceptional and ambiance simply elegant!!

Waitstaff was excellent, as were scallops and sea bass! They did an anniversary card for us!!❤

What a wonderful first time experience to dine at Millwright's. The service was friendly, thoughtful and professional. The ambience was warm and comfortable and the food was outstanding!
