Millstone Restaurant was established in 2006,it is located at the heart of the city centre on Dame street, directly opposite the Central Plaza and specialises in steaks.

1 Course €19.95 , 2 Course Early Bird/Set Menu €28.95 available everyday for Lunch and Dinner.
Lunch Menu €13.95, 7 days a week 12 to 4pm

Millstone has this unique ambience, perfect for couples dining by candlelight or for a large group of friends using their private mezzanine that can take up to 30 people.

Millstone Restaurant also offers an extensive gluten-free menu. A great variety of choice and the comfort of knowing that their professional kitchen and waiting staff are highly trained in this area.

I ordered a gluten free dish, the dish came with regular bread on top of it, I immediately recognised as being gluten free for years I know what gluten free bread looks like, the waitress said she would verify, they got me a second dish now with gluten free bread, but different bread then what was stated on menu. My partner ordered a steak medium and it came rare and with the wrong sauce, the waitress said the sauce was right, and we had to ask please to get another sauce (it clearly wasn’t the right one). The place was cold as the door was open at the back, so overall bit disappointing. Had been before and it was good, so I will try it again, but for anyone gluten free, as always, be mindful.

We recently visited this restaurant and, unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. The steaks we ordered were extremely tough and lacked the quality we would expect, especially considering the high prices. On top of that, our drinks were mixed up, which added to the frustration. To make matters worse, the restaurant included a service charge in the bill without our consent. When we expressed that we were unwilling to pay for the service charge due to the poor experience. Overall, the quality of food and service did not justify the cost. We would not recommend this place and will not be returning.

Very disappointed with our visit to millstone restaurant. 15 euro supplement added for a very small fillet steak and chips was outrageous. And also adding 25 euro for their own tip to the bill was shocking. It wasn’t pointed out to us about the supplement on the steak and unfortunately we overlooked it on the menu as the writing was very small. The staff were very nice couldn’t fault them but the place was very dated and the furniture very shabby and quite frankly the place is very overpriced. Would not recommend there are far nicer places to eat in town that is not a ripoff.

Nice, cozy, clean place. Food was simple, though it was Christmas menu. Nothing really festive. For two adults and a kid 165 euro. Overpriced.

Overpriced and awful food. Paid 10 euros for 2 pieces of garlic bread. The main courses were not really edible.
