A British restaurant and bar, Millie’s Lounge serves classic dishes alongside a selection of English sparkling wines, craft ales and seasonal cocktails.

From Monday to Saturday, you can enjoy traditional afternoon tea, set amidst the Grand Banking Hall. Enjoy cakes, scones and a selection of sandwiches with a choice of tea.

Please be advised that that Poultry Street is Entry only and Princes Street Exit only. Bookings can't be made for only drinks. Registered guide dogs only are permitted in public areas or restaurant of The Ned. Children are welcome in the restaurant with last booking at 6pm; seated up to 8pm. We will try to accommodate pushchairs where possible but please be aware there may not be space at the table. If you would like to request a highchair or for further information please contact the restaurant directly.

Please note The Ned reserves the right to refuse or cancel any reservation either ahead or upon arrival.

We’re serving up sandwiches, scones and bank-themed cakes, including an edible gold bar made from passion fruit mousse, mango and coconut, and a miniature safe filled with dark chocolate and salted caramel. We love The Ned but tonight was disappointing. I had to send my main course back as it was luke-warm and my husband’s steak was so chewy he couldn’t eat some of it. The service was inattentive too. Hoping it was just a blip

Fook ok but expensive. Main waitress obviously overworked. Drinks ordered and took ages to come and then were wrong and then argumentative drinks waitress who insisted she'd salready delivered my drink even though there was no sign of it! Weird!

Fabulous building and setting. Always a pleasure! However, my breakfast was served cold when it should have been hot. Also the waitress kept coming up with orders we hadn’t placed! Annoying as she kept interrupting us! Other than that it was a comfortable experience.

Came for dinner and ordered the porterhouse t-bone with chips and a salad. Food was very good as would be expected. Only minor point was we were not asked if we wanted any further drinks and staff seemed to thin out as the meal went on (our reservation was for 1800), so it was difficult to grab someone's attention.

Great ambience and menu very good and good value. Good servings! Service was slow. Had to ask twice where our tea and coffee was as took so long.

Millie’s Lounge @ The Ned was a fab experience. The service was so welcoming from the doorman to Millie’s Lounge reception to each and every waitress/waiter service. Our main waitress was so professional, friendly, efficient. Food delicious, very nicely presented. Silverware, material napkins all quality items which does make a difference to Millie’s Lounge experience. The Ned building (Sir Edwin Lutyens aka Ned) is a beautiful building. Ex-Midland Bank headquarters where my husband’s business account was held. Not least the downstairs Ladies, beautifully presented and clean and offers the opportunity to see the Safe Deposit Members Bar. Go to Millie’s Lounge and/or go to The Ned for the bar and restaurant areas. Great location, opposite Bank tube station in the heart of the wonderful City of London. You won’t be disappointed.
