A British restaurant and bar, Millie’s Lounge serves classic dishes alongside a selection of English sparkling wines, craft ales and seasonal cocktails.

From Monday to Saturday, you can enjoy traditional afternoon tea, set amidst the Grand Banking Hall. Enjoy cakes, scones and a selection of sandwiches with a choice of tea.

Please be advised that that Poultry Street is Entry only and Princes Street Exit only. Bookings can't be made for only drinks. Registered guide dogs only are permitted in public areas or restaurant of The Ned. Children are welcome in the restaurant with last booking at 6pm; seated up to 8pm. We will try to accommodate pushchairs where possible but please be aware there may not be space at the table. If you would like to request a highchair or for further information please contact the restaurant directly.

Please note The Ned reserves the right to refuse or cancel any reservation either ahead or upon arrival.

    Not as attentive as other London afternoon teas. Tea was cold. No refills and waited quite a long time for the tea to come - quite a bit after the food. Tables quite close together so you can hear everything the people on the table next to you are saying.

    A really disappointing experience. Menu on website was not menu offered and they did not accommodate allergy requirements of the party

    Food was excellent service poor took an age to clear table after main meal and the when it was cleared wiped table down with damp cloth which is not pleasant

    We went here for afternoon tea and the atmosphere is very nice and pleasant however we notice a bit of a difference in service between us and the surrounding tables, we (Hispanic group) found the waiters doing their best to ignore and avoid us while the surrounding tables (which were Caucasian) to have excellent service. I think this is unacceptable especially at a location like this most would expect superb service however we were left disappointed.

    Food was good, without being exceptional. Quite pricey but given the setting reasonably acceptable. Service was very thorough and responsive.

    Would like to say the venue was amazing although beaten by the amazing service given by Timea. She was professional , courteous and a joy. It's rare to find someone so engaging and efficient and we will certainly bring more of our clients back cause of her. Thanks again Bren

    Brilliant venue and the food was good, what you would expect from a good afternoon tea. Service was fine, although I mentioned it was my partner's birthday when booking online amd also made a point of mentioning to the lady at the host station and she said they will bri g a happy birthday plate/cake..this never arrived and as it was a surprise I couldn't mention it. Maybe it was miscommunication between booking team /host team and waiters
