We were at Miller Tavern for New Year’s Eve. Our overall experience was great. The only issue was that the kitchen was backed up a lot. We didn't eat our main course until 11 p.m., and our reservation was at 8:45. We barely had time to finish the dessert before 12. Our waitress, Christie, was terrific and made the experience pleasant. She made sure we didn't feel like we were forgotten, checked in with us, and updated the food situation. The food was delicious when it finally arrived. Overall, it was a fun night to welcome the new year.

We are frequent diners at Miller Tavern and often celebrate special occasions here. For our New Year's Eve dinner, we ordered from their special 4-course menu, and while the food and service from our waiter were outstanding, the timing was less than ideal. Our reservation was at 7:45 PM, but our main courses didn’t arrive until around 10:30 PM. While we understand it was a busy night, it seems the kitchen may not have been fully prepared to handle such a large crowd at once. Despite this delay, Miller Tavern remains our favorite restaurant, and we hope this serves as a reminder to anticipate high volumes of guests, especially during special occasions. We look forward to many more visits!

Waiter was wonderful. Sad that you have taken off the club sandwich and didn’t enjoy the roast dip as much but overall very nice as always

Very good lunch and the service was great. Lovely atmosphere too, quiet enough for conversation among my group of 5 people. Altogether a very enjoyable experience and we would recommend this place.

The restaurant is spacious and well appointed. Downstairs can be noisy, with a bar area TV and later live music. The menu has a good range of selections, the service was excellent. Very friendly and easy going staff. We had 2 appetizers and 2 main dishes and a shared dessert. The food preparation and taste was excellent. Some dishes are quite expensive. The large private parking lot was very convenient.

We always enjoy our time at Miller, especially when our favourite bands are playing. Very disappointed to hear that Miller is moving to a more jazz only format. Bands like Mike Ferfolia and Jeff Eager bring energy to our —- North York life. Very sad that they will not be returning. Not sure whose idea it was to make this change. Oh well.

They over cooked 2 out of 3 steaks and considering the price per steak that should not had happened. They gave us free desert as a token of apology but that was not good enough IMO. They did offer to take it back to bring another, but at that point we didn’t want to delay our dinner any longer. The right thing to do would be to take off those items from the bill. We asked for a med rare and we got med well, and another we asked for med and we got well done. Absolutely awful

Highly recommended, I had the braised short ribs…..heavenly, perfectly cooked and seasoned.
