Join us as we raise a glass to our first winemaker dinner of the season. Embark on a memorable culinary adventure featuring one-of-a-kind, four-course menu by Chef Tyler Florence, expertly paired alongside selections from celebrated winemaker Jesse Katz of Aperture. This special evening will include pairings of some of Aperture’s 100 point wines. Wednesday, November 6 6pm - 9pm Jesse Katz, honed his skills at prestigious wineries like Pétrus and Screaming Eagle before becoming the youngest head winemaker in the U.S. at Lancaster Estate, where he achieved remarkable acclaim for his wines. Now as the Founder & Winemaker of Aperture Cellars, he has received multiple 100-point scores from top critics.

We came for my wife’s birthday with some friends after the warriors crowd went to the game so everything’s should have been easy with basically no in the restaurant. The brought our food getting part of the order wrong and everything was cold. Burgers, Fry’s cold and then they forgot my steak. They apologized and redid and still got it wrong and then overcooked the food almost charring and couple of the meals. This is a favorite place for us but as lost its touch.

Table side prep’s Caesar salad, Dove sole and Bananas Foster were all excellent. Steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked to the requested temperature. Service was exemplarary.

The prices have increased but the food was terrific. They are so good w red meat.

The tomahawk was delicious, we got all 3 sauces and they weee amazing. The Dover sole and Caesar salad were prepared tableside and we weee delighted when Tyler Florence greeted us and took a pic.

Miller and Lux is definitely on the lux side! Beautiful cocktails and champagne cart service. The Caesar Salad lives up to its reputation- hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. They are a steak house so get ready for some mouth watering selections. Manuel was our primary server - on top of his game - very attentive and knowledgeable.❤️ We had a wonderful time for a combo birthday and wedding anniversary celebration.

This was one of the best, non-pretentious, food experiences I have had in a very long time. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to fit it into my visit!

One of the best dinning experiences of my life. My brother and I were in town for a short visit and got a last minute reservation here to celebrate his birthday. The ambiance, staff, and food were truly perfect. You can tell that quality matters here. Everyone was so personable including the executive chef who took the time to check in on every table, introduce himself and shake hands and ask how we were doing. I think it says a lot when your leader leads by example and sets such a high standard and is not above any work necessary to maintain that standard. We will definitely be back and I’ve already recommended this place to any friends and family traveling to the San Francisco area. Thank you again for an amazing experience.

We dined at Miller and Lux back in 2022 for our 18th anniversary and we just loved it. My husband LOVES steak and so I had to bring him back, this time to celebrate his 40th birthday. I kept it a secret until the day of, and boy was he excited! Our experience was even better than the first! From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. Our sever MANUEL was AMAZING! He was friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. He went above and beyond to make our evening memorable. He even helped us create a 4 course meal and worked with the sommelier to help us with a wine pairing. The sommelier was also very knowledgeable and we enjoyed every single recommendation. It all went perfectly with our meals. Our evening got even better, as we were able to meet and enjoy dessert prepared table side by Chef Tyler Florence himself. He was so gracious to come after us to thank us for coming and even taking a picture with us. I love fine dining so I’m always looking to try the best restaurants around our area and while traveling whenever possible. I watched Chef Tyler on the Food Network channel for many years so being able to meet him that night was the cherry on top! We can’t wait to go back!
