    The food was OK. Steak was high quality but poorly seasoned. Sea Bass was slightly overcooked. Mac and cheese was good. Brussel sprouts were too charred and not as good as much less expense places. Table-side Caesar was good but would have preferred croutons to the dusting of bread crumbs. The decor is beautiful. This is a fancy place for young people who are really not fine dining aficionados but more interested in dinning out at a pretty, fancy place.

    steak was good. Not amazing. Server was meh, only looked at me when he was talking which made him seem racist. Ravioli was normal, a little hard. Just ok and we spent over $400

    A absolutely spectacular experience. A few highlights: - Order the Manhattan. Well balanced and a double. Great start! - Oysters were phenomenal. They have their own estuary and it shows. The freshest we’ve ever had. - Caviar and potato chips were not only decadent but actually a great value. - Caesar salad made table side was delicious. - New York bone-in strip was perfection. Seasoning and crust were on point. - Creamed Kale as a side was spectacular too. - Bananas Foster for dessert. An incredible experience. Great service all along the way. Well done Tyler and team!

    Outstanding. Yes it's not cheap, but I've spent same amount in other fine dining establishments and this by far was money well spent. Service, attention to detail was spot on. Never intrusive, friendly, pro. Champagne by the Glass Cart to start the eve (note they have a delicious non-alcoholic German sparkling wine that didnt taste like the watered juice many non alc wines end up) Plays to the classic traditions of Ceasar or our Dover Sole made tableside. Rib eye was spot on. We didn't order but they do banana Foster tableside too. We ended up still thinking about our meal, even the next day. We were there while the Warriors game was still going on so it was perfect. The elegant dining room was not crowded as it can get pre/post games, so a was a nicely paced evening. Definitely take a car service to there if you can since parking can be difficult, but there is valet (suggestion, call and make a reservation to insure a spot if you expect to drive). Well done Miller & Lux. We will definitely be back again, even if just to saddle up to the bar and hang out with Felipe and his terrific pours. Room was

    Best place in SF, hands down! The service, atmosphere and of course the food...can't be beat! Great place for a truly amazing experience.

    Tomahawk Rib Eye was not good. Undercooked and too much fat. Caesar salad was very good. They ran out of oysters and overall food was just ok. Very disappointing

    The serve staff is extremely attentive and just as courteous. You will never find yourself wanting for a refill or needing dishes removed as the staff, ALL the staff, attend to each table as if it were their own. The managerial staff are not robots in actions nor in conversation; they are very kind, insightful, and helpful. This last visit, when my wife asked a manager who stopped by our table where the famed dessert cart went (Chef Florence had decided on more of a plated dessert experience, which is fine), he accommodated my wife with a chocolate cake that was once featured on the cart, which she appreciated immensely. I always enjoy our visits to Miller and Lux, and we recommend to all our friends,local and out-of town, to make it a must stop in The City.
