London's plant-based pioneers, the first Mildreds opened in Greek Street, Soho, in 1988, and has since moved over to Lexington Street.

Mildreds is all about fresh, colourful vegan food that’s vibrant and full of flavours. It's six London restaurants, each with their own unique style and personality, offer laid-back and friendly service in a lively atmosphere.

Often surprising and seducing hardened carnivores and with all of their dishes vegan and many gluten free, Mildreds offers a warm welcome to all. Signature dishes include kimchi bokkeumbap, Mushroom ale pot pie, kiri hodi and korean fried chick+n burger.

Located in a townhouse in the heart of Soho, the recently refurbished Mildreds is spread over 3 floors and offers a stylish private dining space for 10 - 26 people

You’ll find our cosy, intimate private dining room on the second floor. The dark panels, artwork and quirky character provide a space which feels like you’re in the heart of Soho. The room transitions from a modern dining space during the day to an intimate candlelit hideaway away in the evening, where you can enjoy our classic cocktails accompanied by our seasonal, 100% plant-based menu. Minimum spend: £600 for lunch. Please note that we require a deposit to secure the booking, fully refundable if cancelled 48+ hours in advance. Any decorations brought to Mildreds will need to be removed and disposed of appropriately by the organiser after the event.

Mildreds is always a winner, but our experience this time was a little dissapointing. the starters and mains arrived togetgher, which was too much for teh small table and not ideal, and once teh main course had been delivered teh service attention dropped away to almost zero. it was hard to get the waiters attention again to get a drink etc. Also, I was dissapointed thatt eh waiter delivered our drinks by putting tghier fiungers around the top of the glass. this is basic. Otherwise the fod was as alwyas excellent. so: 9/10 for the kitchen 4/10 for the wiaters. 8/10 for the maitre'd

Great food and speedy service. Tables were so close together it was incredibly noisy and cramped.

Food was ok but could be better, curry was not anything to shout about and the kimchi dish was better. Wouldn't come again so soon as better food places nearby

The food was tasty but we probably regret getting the tasting menu, as it was less like a tasting menu, and more like a standard 3 course meal or a sharing meal. It was very front-end imbalanced too, with like one hundred starters and then a standard sized main with sides and then a very small dessert (a truffle each). There were also strange imbalances with each course e.g. loads of dipping options but very little bread. A weird one! But as I say, the food was nice. Would go back, but would order differently I think.

Did not have a good experience at the Soho branch other Mildreds in my experience have been much better especially the one at Victoria. Service was slow. We had to ask for our drinks 5 times, we eventually got them after our meal arrived. 2 of the meals arrived cold and mine was burnt. The food was not up to the usual Mildreds experience, far from it. The serving staff were all nice and friendly just felt very disorganised.

Not the best dining experience sadly. Table was late by 25 minutes. We had to ask 6 times for water. One of the orders was forgotten and by the time that it was ready, the rest of the table had finished their meals. Bottle of wine was omitted from the bill Lovely staff though

Outstanding vegan food!!! I’m not vegan but I did not miss meat at the restaurant the food was exceptional full of flavour, so much to choose from other menu, the service was ok, but not perfect but that was probably due to how busy it was. Had a really perfect evening with friends.

Terrible management. We had a booking for 6.15 but weren't seated until 6.40. We explained that we needed to leave by 7.15 as we were booked to go to the theatre, but our food didn't come until 7.05. And that was only after we chased for it because other diners who'd arrived after us received their food before us. We had to ask 3 times for a jug of water. Generally it was chaotic inside, it seemed they had taken far too many bookings and simply could not service their guest.

The restaurant was very busy with the tables squeezed tightly together which made it very loud. During our time we had three different servers, which gave very slow service. The table next to us got their mains before our food order was taken, at which point we still didn’t have a drinks menu. There was a long wait between course and when we asked to see a desert menu we were told our allotted time was up and we couldn’t order. I won’t be returning.
