The food (filet minion and tuna) and ambiance (elegant old school-meets-modern Italian-American) were very good for our anniversary dinner. The bread and dipping oil while we were waiting were phenomenal, and the roasted potatoes with our meals were delicious. Waitstaff was friendly but I feel that the service experience lacked that “extra something”. For example, when we arrived and were given a menu, I had to ask if we could put a drink order in, as the waiter was going to walk away. Similar things occurred throughout the meal where I sort of felt that we were walking ourselves through the process. Despite the restaurant having only a few customers when we arrived (5:15 seating time, so it was early yet), the wait time for food, and between each checkpoint was quite long (half an hour or so for dinner after placing our order). Also, after dinner I ordered dessert and noticed that the mousse was distinctly not the flavor I ordered. After checking with the kitchen, the waiter admitted that they served me the wrong dessert. However, they were apologetic and took it off the bill without me even asking. Summary: Very enjoyable experience with only a few minor hiccups. We would definitely go back!

The best I can say is it was OK. We ate here years ago and really liked it but this time it was a little disappointing. Service was slow.

Kerry, our server was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I think the kitchen team was understaffed the evening that we dined because our food took a noticeably long time to be prepared. Our server came over twice to state our food would be out soon. We tried the Strawberry & Rhubarb Cosmo and Gin & Watermelon which both lack balance. Although the menu looked amazing, the food was disappointing. The bruschetta selections felt unfinished like there was a missing ingredient to bring the flavors together. The beet salad special caught my eye however I did not enjoy the dish due to the beets being very undercooked. I understand If the beets were just an accent on top similar to a watermelon radish but I don’t believe that was the intention of the dish. The restaurant ambience was very nice. Hopefully, this was just an off night for the restaurant. I do wish them success.

Overall decent. The service was attentive and pleasant. We ordered a margherita pizza and the fusilli Milano. The pizza was good - perhaps a bit doughy but we like it that way. I had bigger expectations from the fusilli Milano since it bears the restaurants name. It was too garlicy for me (though perhaps that just reflects my preference) and the pasta was swimming in an oily sauce. The pancetta added to the flavor but had all sunk to the bottom of the bowl. They overcharged us a dollar on the pasta (kind of odd?) but I did not bother to complain.

We were a group of 13 for dinner. Preordered appetizers as we were on a tight dinner break. When we arrived the appetizers were on time and excellent, the individual meals were great. The overall experience was of high quality. We will return either as a group or individually

Lobster/pasta special was virtually, if not absolutely, devoid of lobster. Waited almost two hours for the entrées to arrive. Although we dined on the patio, everyone appeared drunk inside the restaurant inasmuch as they were practically screaming at each while attempting to converse in a normal tone; pretty offensive, and the reason for us choosing the patio.
