The service was exceptionally slow, and not friendly. Both pasta dishes that we ordered were very disappointing. The orecchiette dish had about 10 pieces of pasta, and the rest was served like a soup. There was a disgusting amount of broth in the dish; it was basically a liquid meal. Gross. We informed the waitstaff of our issue with the dish, and we were met with indifference and a shrugged “oh well” attitude. The bolognese was basically a sloppy joe, again with far too few pieces of pasta and far too much sauce. We also noticed that the bolognese was left out on the counter for a good 10-15 minutes, with people moving over it and around it as it got cold. We, again, brought this to the attention of the waitstaff, and they continued to have an attitude and begrudgingly re-heated the food. Neither dish tasted good at all, and the unpleasant behavior of the staff further soured what was supposed to be a celebratory meal. My family had been coming to Milano for years and years, and this was far and away the worst experience we have had. Will not recommend, and may not return again.

It was my mother's 97th birthday lunch. The food was excellent! Everyone in our group enjoyed every bite. The staff was wonderful and the restaurant is a very pleasant place to dine. The next day my husband and I also ate dinner there and enjoyed the meal and the outdoor dining. We will be back!

Table for four on a Saturday night. Italian dishes, salads, house pizza. All very good. Very nice atmosphere, friendly people. Our young server was Alexa. Very knowledgeable and helpful with her suggestions. A favorite of ours, hope to return soon.

The bruschetta was incredible, the pizza was tasty as usual, and my dining companion raved about the halibut special.

Really fresh food. Great Caesar salad. Wonderful lunch pizza. Nice & quiet. Really was enjoyable & perfect this time.

Our favorite restaurant in the area! We live in CT but we visit family often and Milano is one of the highlights! We look forward to our dinners at Milano. Our favorites include the ciopinno, the salads, the pizza. And the specials are always fantastic. And the BREAD! But it’s not only the food and the ambiance; the service is outstanding! Really a great dinner out!

We waited over 1 hour for our entrée this evening. No apology from management. I have dined here four times in the past 18 months. The only one that was good; drinks and pizza at the bar. The other two visits: My daughter in laws meal was forgotten and we waited an additional 30 minutes for it to arrive. The other: Our order for four people was not put in and we waited over an hour for our food to arrive after finishing appetizers.

Let me start by saying we love Milano, and frequent there because my elderly mother-in-law enjoys it, it is close to home and easy to get around inside with her mobility issues. This trip was special because we were celebrating her 88th birthday. The food, the ambiance, etc. was as usual - excellent! The service was very poor. I thought they were short staffed because of the lack of attention our table received.
