Come and discover the taste of Italy. At Milano, we’re a family restaurant located in Arcadian near the Birmingham Hippodrome. We have a passion for authentic Italian cuisine from pizza and pasta to fish and meat dishes. Sit back, relax and enjoy a drink with traditional food. Perfect for any occasion. Milano is also the primo choice for theatre visitors to the nearby Hippodrome & Alexandra theatre which are both on our doorstep, we have a theatre menu for all those who are visiting the city to see a show.

We went and ordered from a pre theatre set meal second time. Lovely food and service. Good value for money.

We have been coming to Caffe Di Milano when we went to the theatre Always been good until our latest visit We have also asked for the main menu rather than the theatre one as there is more choice and to be honest I’ve never fancied much on it So tonight I ask for the main menu only to be told it’s only the theatre menu available and once again it’s limited on food Asked why we couldn’t have the main menu and the waiter said it’s about timings for the theatre Very disappointed as was not warned when booked the table I also think maybe it’s a ploy to get more money as 2 x two courses, wine and a 10% service charge meant it was the most money we have spent there Sadly this will probably be our last time there,

Extremely strange - not allowed to have a coffee after our meal. Said coffee machine was switched off at 8pm. Food was excellent but weird +++ when did an Italian observe coffee???

Loved the food, the live dj, the drinks and the vibe! The staff in the restaurant were very nice and always checking up. The door staff outside needs to be more friendly and approachable. Other than that definitely recommend!

We love this restaurant. The staff are really lovely, always attentive and helpful. Being in our eighties we very much appreciate this.

I attended for the Bottomless brunch alongside four of my friends. Myself and one of my party arrived 15 minutes late to the booking, under the guise that there was a grace period as stipulated. We were told that for the bottomless brunch this was not the case and that our time had started already. This does need to be updated to be reflected on the booking page. For fifteen minutes, we were unable to get any waiters attention to place our first drink and food order. After getting the waiters attention, we successfully ordered and the waiter was pleasant. However when my Calamari arrived, it also arrived with chips scattered amongst the plate which Weren’t supposed to be there, the plate was taken back with the chips picked off of the plate and given back to me. Calamari was chewy and did not have a nice light crispy batter. But the pornstar was great nevertheless. The rest of my party arrived, and we placed our second order of drinks, being an Esspreso martini, alongside bolognese, all ordering the same thing. Cocktail was great but the food not so much. The bolognese was bland and one of the party was given the wrong food order, a pizza, as supposed to the bolognese so this had to be sent back to the kitchen. We ordered another round of drinks but no food as we weren’t massively impressed and got a pink Martini - again very nice. Cocktails were great, but service was slow. I managed to get 4 drinks during my entire booking, which is good value for money, but not a bottomless brunch I would say. The waiter had taken one of my parties final order, to then be told that they would return to the table for a food order. My party did not receive said drink or food as they expressed that we only had 15 minutes left of the booking. At times the music was a little overbearing and the venue was a little warm, we were not even told goodbye when leaving the venue. Overall, customer service is not the best and slow. Drinks are nice and the venue is okay.M

DJ was very loud if you don’t like noisy place it’s not for you, had to shout over the table to talk to my friend. Slow service and they kept forgetting any requests for forks to eat my food with etc.

Our ‘Vibe and Dine’ evenings are very popular with people who come to experience our live DJs performing and therefore we aren’t able to turn the music off/down to suit every tables preference unfortunately. We apologise for the inconvenience and hope that our guests understand this.
