One of the best Sunday roasts we have had in any restaurant. Friendly service and amazing food. We look forward to going back soon.

First Time visiting, we wanted a drive out to a new place. Read the other reviews which seemed positive. We arrived early which didn't seem to throw them, could not be more welcoming in fact. We were given some bread and butter (Chicken and Thyme), which was amazing, the butter was lovely. We both ordered the Scotch Egg, again loved it. My wife then got the Beef (we went on a Sunday) and I got the Chicken. Both amazing, plenty on the plates for the bigger apatite as well. Overall very lovely place. Most important question I like to ask is, would I come back, the answer is definitely, not only that but highly recommend.

Great meal. Very good service and a lovely atmosphere. The food was excellent as was the wine! Would really recommend this experience. Good value for money too.

An amazing evening at the Milaanj with some fusion of flavours at display expertly crafted by Ruchi and her team. The service right from the word go was impeccable and Phoenix took care of us very well. Aman was very welcoming and made us feel at home right from the start. Masala buns as early starters was fab! We had the Potato Plava and lamb kebabs for starters. Both the dishes were authentic and flavoursome. Jamun cocktail and the Negroni were very good accompaniments. I had the marinated lamp rump and my wife had the courgette paneer flower and both dishes were very tasty. We polished off with a saffron soufflé Rasmalai with a home made mango ice cream ( this is a must try !!) and came home Happy with our tummies full and happy. Thank you Team Milaanj for an amazing dinner !

What an amazing meal! Dined here with family. Couldn’t be more pleased and impressed with the service and quality of the food. Everything was fresh and of the highest quality. The flavours considered and just right. Absolutely delighted with everything. My six year old daughter has requested we return soon so she can have the fish and chips again! And next time we are visiting the family here we absolutely will. Cannot wait!

We noticed the change of ownership, were intrigued and booked a table. Somehow it felt more like a restaurant than before which is a plus. The food is excellent, the flavours superb. In short you will enjoy it. For us the main part of the experience was the dining experience. I’m assuming it’s family run because it felt like that. The personal, professional and friendly attention just made it all a pleasure. It was relaxing. I will add one positive thing which was extremely important to me and which I have never experienced anywhere before including the top Michelin restaurants. The delightful server actually asked if I wanted my empty plate removed whilst my partner was still eating. I’m always happy if clearing is done in one go when all are finished but get extremely annoyed when items are removed piecemeal at the whim of the staff. For this server to discreetly enquire and show consideration would have let me give ten stars for service if possible.

We have come from North Norfolk camping at Hurley for the week. I booked this restaurant for my other half’s birthday after reading other very good reviews. So glad I did. The food was amazing and very well presented too. I had the slow cooked lamb and the other half had the Corn fed chicken. My eldest boy had a chicken burger and youngest had tomato pasta. Desserts were beautiful and the homemade Masala bread rolls with homemade tomato butter were exceptional. In fact the best most delicious rolls I have ever had. I tried both the India Sauvignon Blanc and the Shiraz which were also very very good. The Resteraunt staff were very polite and attentive. I highly recommend and hope to coke back here again if we are back down this way in the future.

We were here for dinner. Very innovative menus and attentive service; all dishes were explained properly before we ordered. Ingredients were good quality. They just opened 3 months ago and so far if they keep these standards they are onto a very popular restaurant! Highly recommend!
