Sushi and rolls were fantastic. Appetizers were a bit disappointing. Calamari I was chewy and the steak wrapped asparagus was chewier. We didn’t even finish the appetizers Service was good.

Service was good but the food was not at all. Sashimi was dry, served really cold and cut way too thick. Nigiri was also dry, didn't hold together with the rice, the octopus was terribly chewy (almost inedible), and the rice had way too much vinegar. Miso soup was too salty and not served hot - barely warmer than lukewarm. And salad with ginger dressing featured none of the promised tomatoes or radish, and the dressing tasted only of orange, no ginger. Service was prompt and friendly, so there's that.

Made it in by 5pm to take advantage of the discounted sushi prices. Waitstaff is friendly and service is efficient and quick.

The food at Miku is delicious and meticulously prepared. The service is lovely and we felt welcome and everyone was so nice! Highly recommend!

Food was quite good and we appreciated the "happy hour" pricing very much. But as evening went on the noise level grew and we found it hard to hear one another across the table. The restaurant also seemed short staffed and the wait staff, though amiable, very rushed. Then, we found a 2.5% an unspecified surcharge on our bill that the waitress could not explain. She basically said, Sorry, it just shows up. While not a significant amount relative to our very ample bill, the charge should have been explained and we will likely not return.
