We specialize in Aburi, or flamed-seared sushi, which was developed nearly a century ago in Japan. The act of applying fire directly and lightly sear is known to enhance the natural flavors of the fish. Miku owner, Seigo Nakamura, innovated the Aburi concept by creating speciality sauces, using non-traditional Japanese ingredients, to complement the unique taste properties of each fish.

Miku Restaurant is within walking distance from the Pan Pacific Hotel, Canada Place, Trade & Exhibition Centre, IMAX Theatre, Cruise Ship Terminals and Sea Bus. If shopping downtown, join us for lunch and re-energize.

It's entrance is at the corner of Howe Street and Canada Place Way, overlooking the east cruiseship terminal at Canada Place.

**We only will hold reservations up to an additional 15 minutes after your reservation time, at which time your table will be released.

    Best sushi I have ever had. It is overall a casual environment if you’re looking for a nice meal and delicious food. Service is amazing and location is perfect!!

    We enjoyed the food and appreciated the advice we were given about what to choose. A great menu, multi-facetted! There is definitely something for everyone, even if you don't care for seafood! Because we arrived early, we were not able to sit at a table with a view, which we had requested. However, other than that disappointment, we completely enjoyed our meal and experience! We would happily return----a third time!

    My partner and I live in the UK and Germany and we tried Miku for the first time last year when we visited. We had such a wonderful experience that we had been looking forward to coming back all year, and Miku did not disappoint! All our servers were fantastic and the food was amazing. We had our favourite Salmon oshi sushi and tried a couple different dishes this year: the Otoro and miso sablefish, which were both delicious. We can't wait to come back next year!

    Very tasty food. Wait staff very good. Reception/hostess highly indifferent and offered us one of the worst tables in the restaurant and seemed put out when we asked for a better table since we had booked it days in advance.

    We celebrate my daughter birthday there at dinner time. We all had a great time. The only thing that bother us is that a table was really really loud. I can tell that we are not the only table who feel not comfortable about it. Unfortunately, none of any Miku employees ask them to lower they voice. So we took off right after we finish our dinner.

    The food was very good. We had the oysters,lobster ceviche, nigiri salmon,hamachi and otoro as well as the Signature Shokai. The sake premium flight was also very good. Service by Andrew was excellent and the General Manager Shota Yoshitake made sure everything was fine and we will definitely go back to Miku.
