We specialize in Aburi, or flamed-seared sushi, which was developed nearly a century ago in Japan. The act of applying fire directly and lightly sear is known to enhance the natural flavors of the fish. Miku owner, Seigo Nakamura, innovated the Aburi concept by creating speciality sauces, using non-traditional Japanese ingredients, to complement the unique taste properties of each fish.

Miku Restaurant is within walking distance from the Pan Pacific Hotel, Canada Place, Trade & Exhibition Centre, IMAX Theatre, Cruise Ship Terminals and Sea Bus. If shopping downtown, join us for lunch and re-energize.

It's entrance is at the corner of Howe Street and Canada Place Way, overlooking the east cruiseship terminal at Canada Place.

**We only will hold reservations up to an additional 15 minutes after your reservation time, at which time your table will be released.

Celebrate the season with our exclusive Miku Holiday Kaiseki, a chef-curated 7-course dining experience, available for $180. This elegant menu can be elevated with optional premium beverage pairings. The best sushi I’ve ever had! So glad I heard about Miku from a talk show in the States…I put it in “the list” and it was worth the trip.

My husband and I have been wanting to dine at Miku for a year and a half but could never find a reservation that worked with our schedule. We were thrilled to be able to finally dine there on his birthday. The staff were warm and friendly and the food was delicious. My husband was very happy to have celebrated at Miku. We hope to be back again, hopefully not a year later!

Miku was perfectly fantastic. They accommodated a time change even though they were full. The lobster ceviche deserves a Michelin star. The food was over the top. The cocktails are wonderful. And on top of that, the view. Wow. Great. A must if visiting Vancouver and a place to frequent if a local. Service was enchanting. 5 stars.

Our server was so nice however the service was so slow. The nigiri was top notch but the other things we got were underwhelming and one of the “rolls” was so bad we didn’t eat it. I was looking forward to this restaurant and was sadly disappointed.

Wonderful selection of melt in your mouth sushi served by passionate people love ing what they do. Definately try it out especially if you’re unsure About sushi!
