We specialize in Aburi, or flamed-seared sushi, which was developed nearly a century ago in Japan. The act of applying fire directly and lightly sear is known to enhance the natural flavors of the fish. Miku owner, Seigo Nakamura, innovated the Aburi concept by creating speciality sauces, using non-traditional Japanese ingredients, to complement the unique taste properties of each fish.

Miku Restaurant is within walking distance from the Pan Pacific Hotel, Canada Place, Trade & Exhibition Centre, IMAX Theatre, Cruise Ship Terminals and Sea Bus. If shopping downtown, join us for lunch and re-energize.

It's entrance is at the corner of Howe Street and Canada Place Way, overlooking the east cruiseship terminal at Canada Place.

**We only will hold reservations up to an additional 15 minutes after your reservation time, at which time your table will be released.

    Food...amazing, the best sushi but the drinks are really bad, it's preferable to drink water or a soda, finally the tea dessert…pfff incredible

    We ordered 1). Miso soup - was good 2). Brussels sprout chips - too salty 3). Lamb chops - good 4). Hamachi sashimi - good 5). Red wave roll - just awful as it did not taste fresh and tasted like it had sat for hours 6). Surf and turf roll - same as #5. Did not taste fresh - tasted old 7). Uni - was old as well, not fresh. Had a strong fishy taste We are tourists and were excited to try Miku again. We had come here last year and Miku was fantastic. This time much of it was not freshly made sushi - but rather sushi that had been sitting. NOT fresh at all! Very disappointed and will never be back as the prices are high for old sushi. Waiter was just ok and never replenished our water without us asking. Terrible and certainly not worth the money!

    Pricing would be fine if the quality of ingredient matches, unfortunately it didn't.

    Excellent staff and food. Had the seven course kaiseki and all was amazing. Best sushi I’ve ever had with crazy good flavours and freshness. The sake pairing was interesting too. Tried types I’ve never had before. Would go back for sure on an extra special occasion.

    I highly recommend getting one of the lunch combos, it was a great way to try lots on the menu. Our server Karol was so helpful and her enthusiasm made the whole dining experience so much fun and enjoyable.
