We specialize in Aburi, or flamed-seared sushi, which was developed nearly a century ago in Japan. The act of applying fire directly and lightly sear is known to enhance the natural flavors of the fish. Miku owner, Seigo Nakamura, innovated the Aburi concept by creating speciality sauces, using non-traditional Japanese ingredients, to complement the unique taste properties of each fish.

Miku Restaurant is within walking distance from the Pan Pacific Hotel, Canada Place, Trade & Exhibition Centre, IMAX Theatre, Cruise Ship Terminals and Sea Bus. If shopping downtown, join us for lunch and re-energize.

It's entrance is at the corner of Howe Street and Canada Place Way, overlooking the east cruiseship terminal at Canada Place.

**We only will hold reservations up to an additional 15 minutes after your reservation time, at which time your table will be released.

    If you like high-end sushi like you’ll find it places like Nobu or SUGARFISH you’re not going to be happy with the sushi here. The restaurant did not have a high-end feel as it is located in a super touristy part of town, the space is odd and cramped. (you’ll be on top of the person at the table next to you.) we were told we would only have the table for two hours – who stays in a sushi restaurant for two hours?? We were out of there in 30 minutes searching for another restaurant because the sushi was inedible. The selection of sushi is just weird. Lots of things come with thick skin on them and a rubbery taste. The Brussels sprouts were delicious. They have a bizarre Bento box at lunchtime, which is very mediocre. The wait staff was lovely, the receptionist was lovely, the food is just not what one would expect based on their reputation and price point. Def did not have a high-end feel. Despite the beautiful view, the space felt like we were in a cold airport.

    The Deluxe Shokai lunch option is the perfect option if you want to enjoy a broad selection of what Miku has to offer, though it must be said their specialty is in the aburi sushi rolls. From start to finish the course selection was delicious and satisfying, and I would definitely reccomend the Bergamot Sour cocktail to accompany it.

    It was my friend's birthday, so we chose your restaurant to celebrate. She absolutely loved it. the food was delicious, fresh, gorgeous ....... The staff were attentive and friendly, and the ambience was beautiful. We have a wonderful lunch date.

    Great service and ambiance! Beautiful setting with great views of Canada Place and the bay. Enjoyed our meal and house sake. The “famed” flat salmon dish was excellent!

    Great meal at Miku Restaurant on Sunday night. Lots of staff, good interior decoration, pretty quiet actually. It's a bit pricey, but the food quality is excellent and the service was great. Shout out to Eva.

    Great food as always at Miku. However, I was celebrating my birthday here and this was not acknowledged by the hostess or the server during my visit. Otherwise, service was good, food arrived with explanation of all the fish. Seemed like they were in a rush to clear our table- we ordered the seafood platter and the moment a small plate was finished on the platter they cleared it. I didn’t think it was necessary. I’m not sure I would celebrate a special occasion here again.

    Delightful food and service. Incredible decor and locale. Only drawback is that it is very loud. Difficult to carry on conversation. Pricey but worth it.

    Second time here and again did not disappoint. Quality seafood. Knowledgeable staff who gave excellent recommendations. Save room for dessert!
